Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     4. I feel my doll will be lonely if I have only him (first doll). :pout: So I find some friends for him and make a story background. I really enjoy with many dolls from different companies, different size, so I can sew some gorgeous clothes for them. But I do have limit for number of my doll. I won't buy more than what I've planned!

    6. I really don't why I need more than one. But I enjoy different sculpts, and the beauty of them all. I can't seem to have just one, I need many! Right now I'm concentrating on collecting bimong bjds, next will be iplehouse, and then minifees, and on and on. My wallet needs to get bigger!

    8. this is a really interesting question, i think for the most part there are a number of categories that we fit into. some of us want them because they want an embodiment of their character, others want more versatility in their art, some of us just collect them for their beauty and one is simply not a collection, then theres wanting variety in the subject matter of your photography...and so on. at the end of the day though it's really hard to pinpoint why these dolls end up becoming so freakishly addictive despite their hefty price tags and their long waiting periods and relatively high maintenance. i've yet to read someone's response and feel like it reflects the reason behind my own obsession...i dont know if there's any easy answer to it!

    9. To see differeny sculpt and resins from different companies, to make photostories and group shots! Some interactions baby to keep you busy too! (or to make your life miserable by prepping each one of them, it takes hours haha XD)

    11. We don't NEED most of what we have... just one purse would do, one pair of shoes and the list goes on and on. People collect for a number of reasons, mine being that I really, really enjoy dolls and this being a new experience for me (the bjd's) I am sure that one will not be enough...

Variety is the spice of life and my doll can get lonely:lol: seriously, I don't know why we humans are greedy and always want more, it is in our nature and these dolls make me happy and expand my creativity, so I want to create different characters/personalities and looks...that's my excuse XD

    15. I had my boy for about a month and he looked so lonely, spoiled and pampered nonetheless lonely. So I decided to order his little brother and then I also ordered another character from the story I'm working on. Now I keep finding more dolls that fit characters and my wish list keeps growing. Before, I ordered the last two I bought two heads which stay in their boxes until they get bodies and faceups.

    19. I guess I want more characters. I have my Anneke and I love her, but I hope to get her friends that fill out her story. Though, I find that I'm not interested in simply another human looking doll. I'm only interested in buying fantasy, or odd looking dolls, such as the dolls Doll Chateau makes. I see so many creative possibilities for them, both in an arts-and-crafts kind of way, as well as in a literary way. I want to make characters out of them.

    20. Because my dolls are based of characters and I like working with character interaction. So I feel like I need at least 2-3 dolls from the same story before I can start working with them.
