Wigs for Dream of Doll DoT boys

I bought a DOT wig- and it did NOT fit my CP EL as the wigcap wasnt elastic at all. However, that was quite a while ago and i do not know if DOT wigs are now differently made with more elastic-y wigcaps~~

 

Any of the DOT wigs I have fit the dolls with the 8 size head....or 7/8 size head. They are not elastic at all.

They made some wigs you could order. The sizes were the SD/SD13 size, DOT, MSD, and DOC. Those have been sold out for a long time.

 

Can someone help me? i have difficulty in finding wigs for DOT. I try luts but the wigs seems a bit big for DOT. Is there any other doll shop online that sell wigs suitable to DOT other than DoD website? I saw Leeke has a lot of nice wigs. Can DOT fit into it?

I have a leekeworld wig for my Shiwoo, and it's really huge on my poor DOT boy. The pictures don't look too bad (example one here, if you're interested), but the wig's just sitting there on his head - very loose indeed. If you like the leekeworld wigs I'm sure you could attach one to your DOT's head using velcro to make sure it doesn't slip... something to consider, maybe?

 

JPopdolls 8/9 wigs are a very good fit.

Ideally, you should get wigs sized 8/9.

 

I've had luck with MSD sized wigs for mine too. As long as the caps are stretchy enough, they should fit.

 

I've also had good experience with Jpop wigs.

8/9 is the size you want. a few sellers in the market place also have this size. Or if you like fur wigs, it's pretty easy to make your own

I've been looking through all the bjds websites I have on my favourites list (which somehow has grown into a very large list ) but I can't find a DOT wig for my boy, a black wig (which isn't too short). I love the ones on the dream of doll site but they are always sold out

Does anyone know of a website where I can find DOT sized wigs? (used ones, pre-orders and custom made are fine as well, I just really want one)

 

You need to look for 8-9 inch sized wigs. Jpop wigs have a good selection and so do Iplehouse. I'm sure there are other sites as well. I've personally bought an Iplehouse 8-9 wig for Raidan, but Chi (Camine) wears it as well and it fits fine.

Ok... I don't usually buy things on ebay so I didn't go there right away, but ended up finding stuff there. Problem solved!

I own a DOD boy, Lahoo, and it was such a pain trying to find a wig that fits his small head properly.

I've had very good luck getting wigs for him on Ebay. I found some great wigs in a size 8 from Cancan. Cancan sells a straight size 8 which is a perfect fit for my Lahoo. She doesn't have a huge selection, but atleast the ones she has are very nice. Wish you luck!

 

LEEKE WIGS!!!! Like everyone else I've had a hard time finding wigs that would fit both Kael and Zarek's small heads and I"ve found that the MSD wigs from leeke are perfect! They have a ton of color's and styles and they have just the right amount of stretch to fit on his head perfect. I do use velcro so that may be why they stay so well but I doubt it! Any who Kael wears this wig! Hope this helps!

^interesting. I've never tried my leeke MSD wigs on my DOTs. MSD wigs from leeke is definitely big already on DOCs.

Why do DOTs give us so much trouble??? It takes a lot more time and effort to find things for them.

Anyway... I've been doing my researches through ebay and all the websites mentioned here and I've found some good candidates for my Lahoo. I ended up going back to Lillies suggestions, I got in contact with the website owner and found out that exactly what I wanted is coming soon to her website!

well with DoD if they're on the Korean site then you can email and ask. otherwise Leeke looks like they may be offering 8-9 wigs now or at least guaging as they did a 'small SD' size limited order recently just for boys and girls with our dolly's sized heads

So far I've not had too much difficulty. eBay's a good place to look for 8-9 wigs and I think a number of the companies like JPOP, Kstarr and the like offer the 8-9. A bunch of other dolls with similar head sizes will also have wigs. Konlin has some cheaper ones and the marketplace should have a few at least.
