Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       My Cerise takes an 8-9 wig . It really depends on the company the wig is from and sometimes the indvidual styling of the wig. Gretel heads do not fit 7-8 wigs tho since the head is about 8.5 inches in circumference.

      Most SD dolls (55cm+) wear 8-9 wigs. MSD dolls usually take 7-8 but some newer sculpts with smaller heads take 6-7

    4. Is the Gretel head larger than the Haruka head? I ask because I am trying to figure out which size wig for a Haruka head and on this thread it said that a Gretel was 8.2 inches. There is a white wig I want to buy but not sure if I should get the 7-8 or 8-9 for my Haruka.

    5. what about the obitsu 60-303 head anime head would it fit a SD wig? There is a company called wigs2dolls that make realy good wig and l'm interested in 2 of there so l was wondering if they would fit.

    6. Gretel head is pretty much a size 8. Which means large 7-8 or small 8-9 will work.

      Haruka is smaller than a Gretel, and will for the most part wear 7-8.

      The 60-303 is about the same size as a Gretel, so large 7-8 or small 8-9.

      To be on the safe side when getting a wig, and you can't figure out what the measurements of it are, go with SD sized ones for 60-303, Gretel and the 'Designer' head. Use MSD ones for Haruka, Misuzu, Mizuki, Kanna, Megu and Alice.

Depends on the head and the wig and if you are using a wig cap (silicone caps will allow you to use a bit larger wig) - but from my experience (without wig cap): original head will take true 8-9 SD wig, Gretel is more of a small 8-9. Ai-Chan/P-Chan/Q-Chan/R-Chan are about the same size - taking smallish 8" same as Gretel. Haruka/Sheba is a bit smaller than Gretel and can take 7-8 unless it is tight fitting. Megu is smaller than Haruka and a bit larger than Alice, but both will take 7-8. I know there are some smaller heads now for the smaller bodies, but I don't have personal experience with those yet.

      All of my Dollfie Dream wigs are too large for my Obitsus (except for the 'original' head), but some wear them anyway with wig caps.

      The best fitting wigs will come from Parabox as these are made for the Obitsu heads. But many smaller 8-9 SD/7-8 MSD wigs work, too.

    9. Does anyone have any good suggestions for a 4-5 wig for a 24cm in obitsu head on Esty? I'm not a big fan of the wigs on the site.
