    1. How many of you will take dolls from Chinese BJD company?

      For me it's much more about the aesthetic appeal of an individual doll than the company or the nationality of that company. So, I am definitely interested in purchasing a doll from a Chinese company when they make a sculpt that excites me.

      Which Chinese BJD company you love most?

      Definitely Angell Studio, but Doll Family-A has a style that I like a lot too.

      When you decide to take a doll, what's the point you care most?

      Probably the face-sculpt, but the whole package matters a lot to me. For instance, even though I love Angell-studio's Kana, I doubt I'll ever own her because they make all their dolls with French resin. There are also other companies who might make a nice head sculpt, but then their bodies look very awkward, and I tend to lose interest.

      I think I'd say DollZone, why? Because in owners hands they became to really creepy/cute/lovely dolls, with dolls from DZ they can do anything.

      The sculpt is the most important thing. And the dolls look, I like sad dolls.

    5. I just got another Chinese doll in the mail, yesterday, Asleep Eidolon Xun.

      I have dolls from Korea, Japan, and China. If I like a sculpt, and the company is reputable, I buy the doll. The country of origin makes no difference to me. My Chinese dolls are just as nice as the dolls from other countries, and in some cases, even nicer.

      My favorite Chinese company is Spiritdoll; gorgeous resin, beautiful sculpts, and seams sanded for free!

    7. My dream boy is a Mo-3 dollzone ! and I just made an order from AE ..
      I believe it is remarkable that from country to country .. or better say company to company .. the molds are quiet different .. and personally .. I didn't knew some of the companies ppl shared in the posts were chinese ! I think China is starting to be a leading country in industry .. lots of things I like, are made in china !

      btw B & G company, how do I order from ? Do they have a website ? I remember I liked some of their sculpt but never really able to locate them x3 ..

    8. I'm awaiting for my very first BJD from a chinese BJD company Angel Fantasy.
      I fell in love with Alice's face- and I've been shopping around various sites to find the one face that draws me in. It's also nice that their prices are cheaper compared to other companies.

      So to answer your question:
      When you decide to take a doll, what's the point you care most?
      The face is a priority and the body secondary, price third

      I care most is I can believe in the sales picture. That I will get what I expect as thats what I like in the first place. Exception is resinsoul cause i bought it from the shop and love it from there.

      I'm on the fence with this one. I love B&G sculpts and I own a few of them, but I never want to deal with the company directly, after hearing the horror stories of their wonderful customer service...:shudder

      When you decide to take a doll, what's the point you care most?
      First the face sculpt; second-most important point is the body sculpt. I also care about the thickness and quality of resin. Even though the Bobobie and Resinsoul resin is my least favorite point about the dolls, the prices are that decent enough that I'm willing to overlook that.

      Personally, I'm slightly on the no side for Chinese BJD company, despite I'm a Chinese myself. But if the company itself got good reputation and I love their sculpt, chances are, I won't stop myself from getting it.

      So far, none. But I do find 1-2 yoSD in Angell Studio adorable. :)

      As a consumer, I would want the best quality I'm able to get with the amount of money I spend (The law of equilibrium? Lol). Of course, I'll need to like the sculpt first before even deciding any other aspects. Another bad habit of mine is, I prefer MINT condition (aka being the first owner) BJDs unless I'm totally desperate on that sculpt and it's limited edition. Put it as I'm possessive or so, but I just couldn't bear accepting a BJD that got owned by others before. :sweat

    14. DollZone has to be my favorite company. Me and Porcelainsmorge have 4 DZ MSDs so far and plan on getting another for our little planned out family. :)
      The dolls are such great quality, no seams, strung well, very nice resin colors. I will always recommend DollZone dolls!

      Me! My first BJD was actually a hybrid with AoD's v2 body. TBH, I prefer that body over CP's body as it looks much more masculine and slightly more poseable when in kneeling postition >w<

    18. Well, the body of my hybrid doll is actually from a young, Chinese company. It is a Granado male body, and I just loved it on the pictures.

      I have done research for a pretty long time. As new as this company may be, but I had a good feeling with it. They listen very well to their customers.

      His face, however, will come from another country. I hope the two will be a good match.

    19. I haven't really paid much attention which companies are from which countries, honestly. I look at the dolls, their structure and sculpts and what I like. Looking through this thread though, my two dolls and one of my floating heads are from Chinese companies though (Dollzone and RssinSoul). Both of those companies are two of my favorites though. c:

      I will! I've already ordered my first two dolls, both of which are from Chinese companies. At least, I'm pretty sure they're Chinese. Resinsoul and Doll-Love.

      So far I love them both! Neither of my dolls are home yet, but the customer service has been good. I think I confused poor Eric (the Doll-Love English rep) when I was ordering Alina - he kept mentioning Anona, another doll they have on the site. I don't care much for Anona, but I adore Alina. He was so patient with me with all the confusion. I would definitely buy from them again!

      For me, it's sculpt, sculpt, sculpt. They can be dressed and painted in a variety of ways, but if I don't like the bare doll, I won't consider buying it. I try to do a lot of research before buying a doll. :)
