I still have not seen any news or social media announcements about the new bwd or sale on basic dolls but I ordered the “gray raccoon” sculpt in beige resin today. I was surprised to see it available with no announcements.

I can’t believe my little raccoon (Remi) has already been shipped! I have an idea for him, we’ll see if my plans fit this time.

 

My basic Teeny and KWD Jax have shipped, too. I'm very curious to see what a Withdoll KWD looks like, I hope he will be as cute as my little 16 cm Jax.

 

I hope you’ll share them here. I’ve seen owner pictures of kwd and the proportions are a little different from bwd from what I can see but it’s always hard to know how they’ll look in person.

 

I'll take a size comparison picture though KWD Jax will be blank because I did not want the Snow Fox face up. Teeny will have face up, but I could not make him clothes yet because he will have the new body which is not exactly the same size as the old.

@baxterbrat, I love the baby alpacas, I have Alex but want Alexa too.

I ordered August 31st so less than a month! I wonder if I got lucky and they already had some going in anticipation of orders, I got my order in before the announcement went up on socials too.

 

I ordered Teeny and Jax on August the 1st, so it was also less than 2 months.

 

Gray Baby Raccoon (Remi sculpt) as Georgie from It.

This is my interpretation of Georgie since there are so many versions of him in the book, miniseries, and movies. I don’t normally base dolls on existing characters but when I saw this sculpt I knew he would make the perfect Georgie. I recently re-read the book and I have seen the miniseries but after reading the synopsis of the newer movies there is no way I could watch them with all the changes. You would think it would be easy to recreate an existing character but with so many versions this was actually difficult. I couldn’t decide which of the many versions to recreate so I made my own interpretation with some changes out of convenience and availability of items.

 

He looks very cute. I have not seen the film or series or books, so I can' t tell if he's accurate,

 

He’s not accurate to any version of the character, just my interpretation.

 

Oh, he's adorable! I think you did a good job, that image does make you think Georgie!

 

My Teeny and KWD Jax are finally here. I'm not sure if those will be Teeny's permanent eyes. I have some blue eyes on order, and when they arrive I'll check if they look better.

KWD Jax appears to have smaller head than most YO-SD types. That makes him suit better together with these smaller dolls as an older brother.

My old 16 cm Jax is in the picture for comparison if you want to see how a BWD and a KWD with the corresponding face mold look together.

@spih Thank you for the comparison! I have always liked the Jax head but I don't like the head size on the 16cm body. He looks good on the taller bady!

 

The only problem is that I have not seen a basic KWD Jax on Withdoll site (or a separate bigger Jax head). The KWD Jax I got is from a rerelase of the Snow Fox version. That's why he does not have a face up: I did not want the Snow Fox style face up. But maybe Withdoll will either release the Snow Foxes again some day or add Jax to the basic KWD selection like they have been adding the limited faces to the basic selection in BWD size.

 

It would be nice if they added more kwd basics. I’ve noticed limited kwd aren’t released very often and I wish that would change, I really want Mad Hatter.

 

Yes, Mad Hatter looks very cute. Withdoll definitely should add Johnny to the basic KWDs. It would be much easier to order a KWD any time rather than try to catch a rerelease.

 

I did the face up for KWD Jax and he borrowed some clothes from my other dolls. Though the BWD and KWD versions have similar face molds, they are not identical, but still look related:
