This thread is so gorgeous! I want to personally thank you all for posting your photos and experiences but I've been umm'ing and er'ring about which doll To buy myself for the first time again in years and I'm pretty stuck on either Margery or Adriana now (Please more Adriana pics? ) Avnia your Margery is a definite case on the 'pros' list as well.

I thought I'd be waiting forever, but my girl, Lucia, is finally here! I don't think I realized just how lovely she'd be in person. And her fullset outfit is beautifully made; I'm so happy I got it!

 

Can I request more photos to get me through my wait for Adriana?

Beautiful pics, everyone! My Cecily arrived yesterday. She's so beautiful in person, even without the face-up. I can't wait to paint her. I'm so glad I ordered her!

 

Everyone has such gorgeous girls, and I'm glad to see all of the Cecily girls in particular I got lucky and was able to keep my girl after all so I'm going through the process of figuring out her character. She was gonna be based of a video game character, but we're going the original route instead :3 Any more Cecily's out there at all?

 

I can't do anything but take a picture of her face xD It's so insane...

 

@Este Keep it up! She's indeed beautiful.

@Sylph she makes me happy with all the bows sparkles and her colourful wig. Are you planning to do her faceup or send her away to get one done?

@Buzzibee I'm planning on doing her faceup myself at first, if I can't get it right I'm gonna try for a slot with Darjeeling. I want to go with a nebula sorta themed faceup for her, though I need to get her wig pinned down, I just can't decide what I want to go with lol.

 

Did anyone see the new girl? I got the email this morning. Vera is so pretty and has two heads (one vampire, both have elf ears). I really like her!

 

The normal head looks nice (elf ears!♥), but I really don't like the vampire head... Not a big fan of the way they've sculpted the teeth, generally I prefer if dolls with vampire teeth have a slightly open mouth so that it actually looks like the teeth are coming from their mouth and are not just something flat placed on their lower lip ^^;; Those teeth also look a bit too big for my taste and could be a bit more towards to the center of the mouth.

I did a little bit of photoshopping... This would look much better, like a SD sized vampire version of Angela >3< It might be possible to create an illusion of an open mouth by dark blushing between the lips, but the teeth are a bit of a problem. Though it'd be fun to try sculpting the teeth from Epoxy on the human head!

I want to cuddle up in her coat! I do wish WD would give their girls pants those, especially if they are supposed to be warriors of some kind. or, you know, it's winter. The only thing I don't like about the outfit is actually the boots. They'd be fine if they weren't hooker heels. Ugh, I'm still waiting on four dolls but I may have to put her on layaway. I think she'd look cute with my FL Elf Karsh

 

I love Vera, too, she's really pretty and her outfit is to die for! Finally a big girl with those lovely long elf ears, yay~ Withdoll always comes up with the coolest clothes and weapons for their dolls. *sighs* I can't wait to see more photos of Vera! Hopefully we'll see many of her around here on DoA~

I had my painting supplies out after doing some face ups, so I finally got around to doing a manicure for Apate (Adriana) today. I was also inspired to take photos of her... although, in the end you can't even see the manicure that well, lol. xD

I probably went a little overboard with the pearl shimmer on the nails, but I love shiny things, haha!

 

Now that these girls have been out for awhile, can people give me the pros and cons of them? I know it will differ for everyone, but I'm curious. Can they sit up straight without support and do they stand solid are my two most concerns. I've seen lots of pictures of them, but it's hard to tell sometimes. I usually glue suede all my dolls so no problems if I'd need to do that to assist in posing.

 

I remember your review when you first posted it. I was just curious as to what other people thought. I still like what I see with her. It's a really nice looking body.

Now that more pictures of Vera are up, I'm definitely in love with the dark version. I love the slightly more closed eyes and the notched ears

 

I'm in the same boat! But that didn't stop me from asking for another picture of her. I want to see what the outfit looks like without the jacket on. Either way, I may still try to swing her. i can probably manage a layaway since i don't have any going on right now.

 

I just saw all the options and actually did a squee of joy because they're offering grey skin with the light version, I haven't been this excited about a doll in about a year and a half xD I've been looking for a year for a good shell for my skyrim character, and I'm really getting the feeling that this girl is the one

That discount though, it's amazing! I hope it lasts the entire event period.
