Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. My Vera arrived today! She's stunning :D

      But I have a problem with uploading her box opening pictures. I have them all on Flickr, but when I try to link them here I just get broken images. I go to the share button, copy the BBcode as usual, but it just doesn't work. I haven't uploaded pictures in a while so I don't know if anything changed but I can't seem to figure it out, I've tried posting directly into the text box, copy the page URL.
      It's so frustrating.

      Edit: I finally fixed it, whew. Her box opening is posted now for those who want to see pictures :)

    2. i got a tracking number for my vera the other day but it still doesn't work. is this a common occurrence with withdoll? its driving me nuts, lol. have they actually shipped or not?

    3. @Botflybaby I believe it is pretty common thing with them. It took like 3 days for my tracking to work and then it showed that she was actually shipped two days later than Withdoll stated in their email, which could explain why their tracking generally takes a while to work. So I wouldn't worry a lot about it :)

    4. thanks for letting me know! hopefully i'll get the package next week. i'm using the body to hybrid but i'm interested in seeing vera's head in person.

    5. What I think happens, and many companies do, is that they have a stack of the forms that they keep at their office. Then they have the number on hand to give you but the package has not been brought to the post office yet.

    6. Ah... maybe that is it. But it still doesn't work, I checked this morning, and it's been almost a week. I can understand a day or two, but changing the status to shipping a whole week in advance? That is just asking for upset and paranoid customers worried that their doll is lost in the mail. Hopefully it will start working tonight.

    7. @Rivon Congratulations on your arrival \o/ Are you going to paint her yourself or send her out?

      I just got a shipping notice for my dark Vera today, although I only paid the layaway off a few weeks ago. I've been so broke I haven't been able to order her eyes yet and now there will be customs charges to pay. x_x Oh, and I still need to order a body from Withdoll for another doll of mine. I wish money grew on trees. But I absolutely can't wait to see what the light brown skintone is like. <3

    8. @Yenna Thank you! :) I sent her off for a face up on monday, and I'm already anxious :sweat I don't think I'll be able to relax 100% before I know she made it to the artist safely.
      Your Era is so gorgeous, I love that dress on her! She has such a great colour scheme.

    10. @Rivon Thanks. :3 I don't think I could deal with sending my heads out of face ups. x_x Well, lucky for the face up artists, too. I've sent a head out once and the poor artist had to do a lot to please me. I'm too picky even when I don't have a clear vision of what I want, lol. It's probably better that I paint my own dolls. Is your artist out of the country?

      @renge_karen Thank you. ^^ I noticed that too. I talked about it with a friend and we wondered if someone had complained about it for some reason (because it wasn't exactly the same head) or if it was because they're not planning on re-releasing the repuria series again, so they want to make it clear that she's a basic head.

    11. @Yenna yeah she's located in Russia, but it's not too far from Norway so I hope her head won't take too long to get there. I practically suffocated the packing box with bubble wrap :XD: I've sent a lot of heads out for face ups but I get nervous every time.

I ordered the pale brown and I'm pretty sure she arrived in grey skin. I'll upload pictures soon, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice I would appreciate it.[​IMG]

    14. I've heard the new pale brown is a greyish color and not really brown (which is what I was hoping for since it looked grey in the pictures)

    15. You got the right colour. Grey is much, much darker and I can take a comparison tomorrow when I get my own pale brown girl home (can't wait, I have such high expectations for that colour).

      Pale brown, grey and rosy brown are not natural colours, and I'm sorry if you thought otherwise. ^^; If you want a natural tan skin tone from Withdoll, you'll have to go for real skin or brown tan.

    16. When I get mine, I'll also be able to compare with the regular grey, plus the brown tan (possibly real skin uv too if I still have that doll when my girl arrives).

    17. My girl arrived early this morning! \o/ I love her but there's so much work to be done. It's been a while since I've received a full new doll that needs re-stringing (her string is too thin for my taste), sanding, coating, blushing and painting. That's what I get for ordering Dollfie Dreams and getting used to them, I guess. They're so low maintenance to start with. xD She also needs some pieces of clothing because I'm not loving what the tight shorts do for her figure. I also still need to order her eyes & shoes and style her wig because the wait time just flew past and I didn't even have time to think about them. I've got my work cut out for me. xD But I'll have some photos with temp eyes once I've finished with the maintenance and painting with the doll itself.

      I was expecting the pale brown to be just slightly warmer tone, but it's otherwise pretty much what I was hoping (and I'm sure it'll yellow warmer eventually). I love how pale it is; makes my grey skin girl look dark. <3

      I'm taking a(n almost) full colour comparison with all Withdoll colours shortly.

    18. I love the color! I was worried it was the wrong one, but i'm so glad to find out it's the right color. I had imagined it different in my head, but I love how she looks so it all worked out in the end! I need to get her some clothes and a face-up next! I'm loving everyone's dolls!

    19. My dark Vera arrived today. Box opening is up, but here's a pic <3 I really love her. I also love this body! I need to get another and hopefully it will work for one of the floating heads I have.

    20. Ugh, I am having the worst nightmare with my Vera. I sent her off for a face-up more than 3 weeks ago and the artist still hasn't received her. Like a moron I did not send it with tracking because I've never once in the 6 years in this hobby have anything go missing, go figure.
      Does anyone have any prior experience with shipping to Russia, and the usual wait time?
      I'm getting more anxious every day.
