    2. I see the previews up of the girls. I don't know what they'd have for fantasy parts. Maybe heel shoes like the small girls? Guess we have to wait and see. Also on their site, a notice says they are not releasing them as basics?

    4. The new girls are lovely, but I think I'll hold out until Withdoll releases a girl in armor. I was hoping they might do that this time since Margery looks fairly close to Priscilla, but I'm glad they didn't try to take on too much for their first SD sized ladies. I really hope they change their minds on releasing the SWDs as basics later on though.

    6. Ooo can't wait to see the full release. I'm really hoping for some sexy assassin gear in the future! And I'm liking Cecily's outfit, or at least what you can see of it so far. I want it, but not for my incoming Cecily. I think I'd like to get the outfit for a different doll.

    9. The 'no basics' doesn't generally mean that these two won't be available again. They'll most likely keep re-releasing them over time or have regular order periods for them, like with the special skin tones. It'll help them manage the orders, which means that the waiting times will not get lenghtier than they already are (they already have such a huge selection for such a small company). So, if you want any SWD, all you need to do is save up and wait for an order period. Withdoll even offers discounts on all their special orders (too much, imo) -thus far anyway, while their basics are more expensive. I'd say keeping them limited is a good thing.

    10. Very, very impatiently awaiting the roll out for the limited girls...I held off on Cecily during the first round of sales because I had a feeling I'd want the full set options. She's just so perfect for a character I thought I'd have a really hard time shelling. :aheartbea

    11. I have to admit that I was very, very excited about Withdoll's 60cm girls, but with all the new developments I'm seeing regarding their sales, I'm becoming a lot less enthused. :(

      The newest update says they aren't releasing the 60cm girls as basics, that they are only selling 50 of each (and this includes pre-orders! Meaning only 30 will actually be sold of each when the limiteds go up) and they also added on that these dolls will not be re-released.

      This seems to be a horrible decision on their part. I love my Priscilla, and really hoped Withdoll would make an SD version of their dolls - but with such a limited run and no chance for re-releases, it makes it incredibly hard to get one of these girls. I feel like they're shooting themselves in the foot by not offering basics or allowing people to buy these more readily.

      I doubt now I'll be able to get the girl I want because a.) money crunch and b.) extremely limited.

    12. You know, I will say that WITHdoll has said they would do limited releases and not re-release before. When Juwel first released, that's what they said. Of course, he ended up being re-released in his fullset and in basics later too. I think they say it as a precaution, but it could always change in the future so don't get too discouraged. It's something a lot of companies seem to do.

      I hovered around the WITHdoll site all weekend waiting for more pics and info but they keep getting delayed. Arg, it's like waiting for a video game release. XD I really want to see the changes they made to the knees and the extras and whatnot.

    13. Double poooost but warranted. WITHdoll just updated photos of the girls. ^^ The Duchess outfit is super gorgeous and elaborate while the Polluted Girl is more simple but quite pretty. I definitely want that outfit for a different doll. Though, it doesn't look like Margery comes with any special resin parts (at least that we can see so far?) and Cecily's are interesting. Like glass hands and feet almost. I'm intrigued but I am not sure what I would do with such parts. Especially because my girl will be coming in real skin and that will clash greatly. Then again, with clear parts, it seems like they might be compatible to use on other dolls.

    14. I would love to get Margery on Cecily's body with the extra parts and that outfit in the special blue skin. Do you think they would agree to a head swap? I really don't care for Cecily.... though I probably couldn't swing one of them now anyway considering I just spent a lot on two dolls the other day. but I still really want one. She could be my water nymph or dragon :(

      edit; I just asked on the WD board. I'll let you all know what they say.

    15. So I've never actually bought from Withdoll before but I was wondering, what do you guys think the chances are that they'll release these two girls as elves? Or is it better to just buy it now and ponder it later? I am in love with Margery's face. :aheartbea

      I found out that those that already preordered a girl can send a payment for the clothes with a note to the board to get the fullset options. So I will be getting Cecily's fullset outfit, though I don't think anything else. I will admit some disappointment to the price of her outfit set. It's gorgeous, of course which is why I like it, but it's more costly than I was expecting (I thought it would be in the 80 dollar range). It's only a single dollar less than Margery's outfit, and that one seems much more elaborate and with more pieces.

    18. They won't if they don't know that people want them. If enough people suggest it on their board and they like the idea, they might make it happen. But if you really like the sculpts, it's a surer way to order it now.

      LuckyXIII, I'm sorry they didn't go for it. I don't know any companies that change their limited dolls around, though, because there's a reason they're limited. But maybe you can find someone to split with or someone who ordered cecily earlier that doesn't want the fullset stuff?

      Septunie, looking at the outfits, the constructions are quite similar and the number of pieces as well (Cecily has underdress, overdress and cape & Margery has top, skirt, hat and a necklace). Actually, looking at the outfits closely, Cecily's one seems more complex to sew (mainly the top dress), while Margery's only looks fancy with all the trims. It makes sense to me that they're about the same price. :3


      Cecily's see-through parts are really fancy, but I'm waiting for more extra resin parts in the future. I also want to see photos of the knees soon. =u=

    19. Just saw the more detailed photos of the body. I must confess I didn't see some obvious change from the initial version of the body (the knees angular borders *may* be less angular but apart from that...). What do you think of the modifications?

    20. Joining in to the discussion to inform the world that I ordered a Cecily. :D Couldn't resist the beautiful extra feet and hands and the sweet blue skin... Also I'm very grateful that there was an option for small bust, I just like small busted girl a lot more! And since they updated pictures of the bust sizes, I now see I made the right call.
      I'm going to be so scared about scratching and damaging the see-through hands and feet though... They're so beautiful! ;A; Best transparent resin I've seen so far, I'm so stoked. They look like glass. ♥
      I also requested pictures of the clear resin parts attached to the body, since in the sales pictures you hardly see them at all. But I sent the questions I had through the 1:1 and not Q&A, I think the latter would have been the faster route as they haven't answered me yet.

      I'm buying my girl on layaway, sent in the first payment yesterday and they confirmed the payment really fast! I checked and it was like 5:40 in the morning when they updated my order status. Either they're working reeeeeally late or then just having an early morning. XD I'm really nervous about the layaway since I've never done one with a doll company before... And I couldn't tell them the exact date on which I will be finishing my layaway, do you think it matters? I only know that I'll be able to pay her off within the 90 days given, but I don't know exactly when. I hope they don't mind. As soon as I know the exact date, I will of course be updating my order and tell them...

      Anyway, I hope I'm not the only one waiting! Did someone else order Cecily or Margery too? :3
