Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. Finally paid off my sweet blue Cecily! ♥ I hope they ship soon, otherwise I think I'm going to get a heart attack waiting for her order status to change - I am so thrilled and excited! XD ♥ I didn't even remember buying directly from a doll company is this exciting...

    7. Ahh thank you @Espiransa and @Este for your lovely comments, I really like how she turned out too.
      As I was painting I noticed little things would completely change her looks, like the shaping of her eye and lips, and I really look forward to seeing more of her!

      I have been looking around for some fairy wings, but seems most are for smaller dolls hmm.. I may just try to put something together myself, there's some wonderful tutorials around!

      The only thing that personally nags me are the very skinny legs that seem to have no shape to them, I like my girls with a bit of currrve. Mmm. Her head is also noticeably smaller than my other big girls, but then these things happen. I believe the smaller withdoll dolls were also slightly smaller than average of the same type, so in a way I expected as much?

      Moaning aside, these bodies are amazing posers, I can only hope my poor photography skills can do justice xD;;

    12. Oh man, I'm waaaaay too excited to get my Cecily. I nervously check my order status every day. XD It's only been a little over a week since I completed her layaway, but I ordered her back in June... And they do say that they'll start the production after getting the first deposit, so I think she should ship pretty soon? Although they posted that there was some delay in the shipping...
      Anyway, I'm dying to ask them for a shipping estimate, but I don't want to bother them too much. :'D
      Anyone else way too anxious about getting their doll? XD

    13. I'm sorry to say that that's not the case anymore. They won't start making the doll before the layaway is completed judging from waiting times in the past few years. :< They used to do that when they didn't have so much business, but nowadays they get a lot of orders so they don't have the time to start before it's paid in full (and apparently there are people who cancel their orders before the layaway is done, so then they've started making the doll for nothing). :/ You can always ask them for that estimate to confirm, but you'll want to keep in mind that usually it takes much (weeks) longer than what they say.

    15. Oooooohhhh. They should update their layaway terms then, because it says they'll start the production once the first deposit is paid. XD Which is why I though they would. Oh well - maybe now I can calm down with the order status refreshing, knowing that my girl won't ship for a few months at least. (It is more logical for them to start production once they receive the whole payment though, so I'm not very surprised that they changed the system.)

I'm way too anxious to get my doll and I still have many months to wait, seeing as I only ordered her a few days ago and she's on layaway hahah :D;;; I'm currently channeling my anticipation for her into making a simple-ish dress for her to wear once she arrives though (since thankfully I already have a doll that's about the same size)~

      Honestly, I'm a bit anxious for everyone else to get their dolls as well so I can secretly stalk them...!! /laughs >u> I just really really love these girls, I wanna stare at lots of photos of them (especially as I find it's a fun comfort for the excitement during the wait) but they're still pretty new so there's just not too many in people's hands yet! (I'll be admiring the pictures already posted here in the meantime though, hehe... ♥)

    17. tekkonkinkreet, yeah, a lot of the website has some old info, but they don't have a hired translator working for them so that's understandable. They should take the time some time to go through the site and check the info, but they're probably too busy.

      I painted my Adriana cracked promo head today (got her with the feet package). Went very simplistic with it:

      Doing any kind of hair on 'skin' like that was weird. xD But painting her was very interesting, I think it would be a really great head form something very different, too.

      For some reason she gives me Prisca vibes and I think the normal head would be able to replace the Margery I have as Prisca, but I don't know. This is a dilemma I'll have to think about. She's got smaller, 14mm eyes and a larger mouth, both of which make her look sligtly older and more Prisca like. Her nose is too pointy but I think I would be able to sand that down even in grey skin. I don't know what to do now. =__= Maybe I'll just wait for their future releases and see if they come out with a girl that would be even better as Pris. I can't afford a new head right now anyway.
