  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. My Ruby is real skin. Normal tan should be a little darker, UV tan is darker still. Looking forward to seeing Eliza.

    3. Excitement! Apparently my Eliza shipped on the 6th and made it here to the US on the 7th supposedly she will get to me today....but I head out of town today l will post pics if she arrives before I leave haha

    4. You got her in normal skin with company face-up, right? She's lovely, but looks significantly different than the doll in promo pictures. I was thinking of ordering her in a few months but now I'm not so sure.

    5. Yes, Olivia is normal skin and company faceup. She may look different from promo photos for several reasons: hair and eye color, clothing and background colors, how my camera sees color and how I compensate for it in Photoshop, how different computer monitors see color, etc. I have her in a different wig and outfit now. I'm waiting for a spot of sunshine so I can take new photos. I'll post her again later.

    7. @Viridiansummer - Here is Olivia with a different wig, outfit and background. As @Dakashy mentioned, the new NS resin is on the yellow side. I didn't correct the photo in any way. What you see is how it came out. Usually I Photoshop to balance color and contrast.

    8. I am so excited to be getting a WD Ruby! She will be the first BJD I receive :) Heaps of great info here, especially the review article (it will help me learn how to pose her I think!). Thanks All!! Will be first time even seeing a BJD in real life, I will take lots of photos

    13. So I was a little unprepared for my girl.... but no idea what to do about shoes! I would love some boots for her; anyone know of brands that fit well?
      In the meantime I am making her clothes, doing her faceup and will put her eyes in once I get some putty :aeyepop:

    14. @ajmailey - Low-heeled boots from rRabit Shop and Iplehouse are a good choice for WD's flat feet. (I haven't tried boots with my high heel feet.) You can see one pair of rRabit boots on my Ruby elf in post #657 above. She's wearing them without socks. What you see in the photo are leggings and leg warmers.

    18. Thanks! It’ll be my 4th Ruby. I had her as a human, sold her for the elf sculpt. Then I sold her (big regret). So I rebought her when she came back on the new body but the NS was so different I couldn’t deal with it. So I sold her to you! Now she will be back!

    20. How accurate are Withdoll's default face-ups to their promotional pictures? I absolutely love the Elf Warrior Ian that they're re-releasing, and will probably get him, but I'm not sure whether to get him with their faceup or get him blank and send him out for custom. It looks lovely in the picture, but I've been unimpressed by other companies before, so I wanted people's opinions!
