My tracking is working. Yay!

 

Oh that is really great, did they send you a new email? Or did you just check the last one, and it is now working?

Since WD did say they'd ship my doll today, but I haven't got another email?

 

@karla-chan I didn't get an email, but I checked my tracking status after hannaliten posted, and mine is also working. So I think it just updated.

 

Oh awesome, and yeah mine is working now too! So I am really happy about that!

 

I think Withdoll sends out dolls on Friday.

@karla-chan I don't think the previous parts will be suitable for new body, as I think it was in the notice, that's why they did that final sale with the old body. But better check with Withdoll themselves.

 

I see, thanks for that. That is a shame really, because I really do like the armour.

I do have another doll with the older body too, but her character doesn't really wear armour.

I guess I didn't read into the final sale too much, because I was pretty broke at the time and actually my current doll was unexpected in the sense that I didn't think I'd be able to have her. So there was no way I was able to buy in the sale.

But I'm also excited about the posing on the new body.

 

I ordered through BJDivas back in August, paid in full, and Withdoll forgot my order, they said :/ So I’m still waiting for a body. I’m hopeful that it’ll come quickly, since all of you are getting shipping notices! /crosses fingers

Oh gosh, that's pretty stressful. I hope it gets sorted really quickly for you!

 

He is so pretty, I can't take it. He arrived yesterday, but I wasn't home, so I had to pick him up at the post office this afternoon.



Gotta say, I also am loving the posability of Withdoll's body too. Marlowe is my first and he's amazing.

I'm hopefully getting my girl tomorrow. She's cleared customs, and I've paid the charge (which wasn't too bad actually) and should be out for delivery tomorrow.

I'm not sure when there will be pictures because I'm out for the day!

@karla-chan Thanks! I'm so happy he's here, although he did give me a bit of a run through my wigs collection, since none of them fit him except this one! Can't wait to see your girl too!

The wig really suits though! He honestly looks really nice in it. I hope you share plenty of pictures of him.

My girl is going to be bald for now, because I need a custom wig for her, to look like my character. I'll need to make her a wig cap, then send that to the artist...

And get her face painted...

She also has no clothes since she is like a month early. But because I'll have her body, I can start making her some. She has taken me by surprise overall, I'm normally much more ready for an incoming doll.

Oh, and her eyes haven't even been shipped yet, but I had to wait for the funds to buy those, and bought them from the sale of one of my older dolls. I hope they ship soon though.

So it turns out "Parcel Farce" messed up, and said that I hadn't paid the customs. Even though they second I rung them, it was on their account that I had. They're always frustrating to deal with too...

So because of this they won't be delivering her today... So hopefully they won't screw up and I'll be getting her tomorrow.

If they hadn't moved the depot so far out of the city centre, I'd pick her up myself like many times before!

Sorry for the little rant, I'm just really disappointed, because they mess up a lot.

 

@ajmailey @karla-chan @neon_jellyfish Thank you so much! I'm super happy with him, and also glad I decided to get him with the company face up, it really suits the character I have planned! Can't wait to see everyone else's new arrivals too!

 

It's really nice the face up is good for your character. At least your doll is all nice and complete and you don't have to wait any longer.

 

He's lovely, @Magnus Vale. I'm kicking myself for not ordering him. I didn't like the scowling face in his main photo, so I never looked closely at the sales page and didn't see that there was a different face available. Oh well, next time he's offered. Right?

Congrats to the other arrivals and shipping notices, too. Can't wait to see photos.

 

@karla-chan I love getting custom face ups too, but the faceup in the promo pics looked so nice! I did spend a ton of time stalking owner pics of him to make sure that the face up was as nice in person before I made the plunge, though. I've gotten bitten enough times by pretty promo pics that don't match up to the real thing that I'm super careful now.

@vermont chick Yeah, the scowling face was a bit too harsh for what I wanted, so I got his normal face! If you include the normal ears options, he actually has four different potential heads, which is kinda fun. Hopefully he'll be offered again soon!
