1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

working for a doll company? (link to my doll)

Mar 9, 2007

    1. I didn't mind working for Luts, DoD (Dream of Doll) or DH (Dollheart). :sweat Í think it would be fun and amazing to see how they work. :)

    2. this is cool, tho i haven't worked for a doll company. I would luv to! i would luv to design the outfits but i guess it's not wot u're thinking. Good luck with it!

i myself do not qualify for any position, not graduated from high school (going to this summer) and no work experience. but i would luv to it's cool and if u want to create a company of ur own dolls, we're here to support u!

    3. I would love to work for a doll company but I would get fired for hoarding all the dolls and not wanting to sell a single one.

And, besides, why would I want to spend most of my time answering emails from a bunch of BJD freaks like myself? The horror...

    4. thank you everyone for your interest and kind words! I think that I will start my own company soon, but it might take awhile because I actually want to get a doll first, and compare it to mine.

I have some serious work to do on the body, but I think that everything will turn out alright .

possibly those of you who would want to help with clothing designs could eventually meet up with me and we could start a small buisness together!

I am really excited for the future!

    5. hm......
i'd love to work for Volks at Tenshi-no-Sato as a tour guide.
i'm not good in any form of art, so it is impossible for me to be involved in the doll-making process (or even with the making of tools or accessories), but i love SD and i'd be very happy if my job has daily contact with them. although i haven't been to Tenshi-no-Sato before, i've noticed from pics (from Volks or other visitors) that it is a very beautiful place. i always dream to work in such a beautiful place.
i can speak english and is on my way learning japanese. does that make me qualify to apply for a job there?

p.s.: my sincere wish that anyone who wants to work for a doll company or have his/her own company will have their wish come true!

    6. I would seriously like to start an American BJD company. The product interests me and I think that the industry could use a better quality standard. For instance resin colors that change from batch to batch. This is inexcusable. It would be like a paint company that could not reproduce a color correctly over and over. It's a recipe, follow it.
