worst part of the sculpt?

A lot of dolls I looked at had WAY TOO POINTY of noses! Even An's is a little bit long, but she's so darn cute she makes up for it.

Megu's knees, knowing the problem with them, but she's in pieces atm ready to be sanded, so am going to do some reinforcing in that area. Vnu is lovely, can't find any problems there. Made her stringing loose so she flops around like a ragdoll. Larme's double jointed torso pops out and it annoys me. Will have to fix that. Pandora's sculpt is a little rough around the edges but I forgive her because she's too damn adorable. Luv's posing seems to be a bit restrictive, but don't really care. I like their quirks, makes me remember these are handmade dolls.

The reeeally long noses on some male dolls also bother me. My friend calls them "bishounen kunai noses." xD

 

I would say so far it would be Souldoll-double's knees. I remembered the first time i saw them, they are just scary.... Doesn't matter how posable they can be, any type of knees than resemble those is not very appealing to me.

 

if you hotglue suede the DM chest joint he should be fine. i did mine and he poses wonderfully now...or did until pulled it out to clean him yesterday D:

 

My SD13 girl's left thigh never stays in its socket when I left her out of a sitting position, but I don't think it's a widespread problem with SD13's, maybe it's just my doll. And I love the F-16 mold but the nose is very pointy... I wish it were a little less.

 

My FeePle body is a lovely poser and has nice proportions compared to most female BJDs, but she is horrible to restring. She was the first one I attempted so I thought it was just my inexpreience, but I just did it again and she was just as bad. Her small waist and all her extra parts are just...

The Super Gem boy bodies are pretty reasonable to deal with though they aren't the best standers. As much as I am madly in love with my Sabik, he will NOT stand no matter what I do. I'm planning on sending his body out to get wired in hopes that will help him stand. He has long, thin limbs, but I love those because they suit his character perfectly.

I am on the fence about IO's mouth, but it is growing on me now that I've had him awhile.

 

Right now, it would be how the elbow/knee joints look and just the proportions of the body ie the torso shorter/longer than the legs and legs/arms being skinny/thicker. -_-;

 

I got my Tatiana Trapese (Mobility joint) and there are two things that bug me, neither too much. One is her ears seem a little big. The other is her 'robo-butt' (I'm guessing this is from her mobility joint-ness).

I love the fact that it makes her more posseble but she is a girly-girl and likes to wear skirts/dresses and if I put undies on her to preserve her modesty, whenever I move her they go inside her hip/butt joints.

I know some people say the body has a broad back/shoulders but that doesn't bother me.

Edit: I have trouble getting my girl to sit. It's weird she can stand no problem but I can't always get her in a sitting position the way I'd like. I also can't put her hand to her face as much as I'd like. I guess thats what bothers me the most.

Soom Heliot: He's waaaay too lose, even tying a few knots in his elastic hasn't helped and the hooved legs make restringing such a chore >.<
Plus when getting him to kneel right down, there is nothing to secure him so his legs (and the rest of him) just flop over.

Other than that, he's perfect!

 

I've been getting annoyed that Zaoll's can not look up. It's annoying me to no end.

And her face always likes to pop off. That's just as annoying.
But other then that, I love her

 

The 08 Man head I have has uneven eyelids! It makes it soo hard to have nice looking and proper shading on them!

 

This thread is brilliant. The worst thing about my Namu's resinsoul body would be those blocky abs, imo. Those got sanded day one. :P The twirling knees were a serious pain, but hot-glue sueding has him rock-solid now. All that annoys me at this point is that weird pointy-finger. Why is it pointing!? The hands are beautifully sculpted, but the pointy-finger kills their elegance.

Hmmm, this thread is interesting...
On my Bobobie Pixie, I am not a fan of her hands. I am so picky about hands, hers are just a little off to me.
On my CH shushu, her joints are so weak, if you try to sit her down she just kind of wobbles everywhere.
My Iplehouse Tatiana Pierrot I have almost no problems, she sits and stands like a dream, and she has awesome woman hips, but she has smacked me in the face more then once with her "Kicky" or "punchy" arms.
My DZ Ani is almost perfect, but the width of her nose seems off.
My CP Sr. Delf Blanchet, its weird but I have no problems with her at all, the same can be said for my Puki.

 

My DOT's feet. While they look very real, they're really big compared to others! I've found so many pairs of SD shoes I liked, but they'd never fit. It makes me sad.

In general, I don't like the look of double jointed bodies. Elbows and knees just looks really, really weird. And that joint between the hip and the knee? It creeps me out. Yeah, they're better at posing, but if they're going to be shown, it just looks so unnatural and weird.... o.o

And for a really weird one- I don't like some dolls 'man bits'. xD I hate how some of them look like they were thrown on as an afterthought and don't even look like they were smoothed into the body. I dunno. It bothers me... xD
