worst part of the sculpt?

I had that problem with Jay. Sueding works Wonders on the arms, I'll give you that.

My biggest problem with Jay Say (Soom Beryl) is either the butt (because it's HUGE), or her... "Huge tracts of land" as they say. Buying clothing for her is nigh impossible. It either has to be stretchy, or made for her. Her hooves make pants a near impossibility as well.

Oddly enough, it used to be her nose, it had an odd hook on the end (dipped downwards in profile), but she took it upon herself to smash it, so I fixed it, and now I love it!

 

For my DOC Twin-B it is definitely the eyes, the eyelids are very thick so the eye sits very far back in the head. I'm hoping I can fix this with beveling.

 

I currently only own two full dolls and two heads.

DZ HID: He has the old body and one day hoping to get him a while new doll with a better body in pink skin. Currently, I really hate DZ hands. They're a pain in the ass to get through clothing!! They're so long and wide-like. Then my boy just has one floppy leg that likes to come out of the socket a lot. OTL; His boy "parts" bother me. DZ can't sculpt them right. <_<;; Not to be a pervert. I just like to be correct since they are suppose to be atomically correct.

Leekeworld Min: He is the worse. He came to me badly strung...REALLY BAD! It makes me so sad. I don't even touch him and he's just poorly neglected. I'm waiting to get him restrung by a friend so hopefully he'll be better. I tried restringing him with another friend and it didn't work out. I'm praying that with this friends restringing skills...it'll work. I'm just really sad that if this is how the body is suppose to be... I'll be so sad because it's so loose and tight at some parts.. It's just HORRIBLE! Also...his man "parts" rather bother me as well. It looks...eck. :\

I pretty much like my boys. Three of them are DollZone and the tiny is a bobobie. Really the only thing I don't like about DZs are the knee joints they tend to pop out of place, but I'm sure that can be fixed with tighter stringing.

On my Bobobie I do hate the neck, it seems too short.

What drives me nuts is my AoD Wang ZI is totally ripped, I mean abs and chest like a dream and has these bizarrely narrow shoulders and stick like arms! I mean, c'mon AoD, even well built Chinese men will have broader shoulders and arms? Where else do those great gut muscles attach?

 

Kicky legs for my Delf Moon, floppy hip joint for my MA. Though I think the latter is because Soom didn't send the pegs for the joint system.

Oh, and his jointed hands look to small. The actual look of my dolls though, in terms of scuplting quality, I see no flaws

 

What I don't like about my dolls sculpt? Hmm...

I'm gonna admit, no matter how perverted this way seem, I Do Not like my DoI Lukes penis shape and size xD;; It bothers me alot but nothing I can do about it.

I seriously felt like getting someone to do a mod, but how the hell would I go about saying "Hey very artistically talented and popular nice person on the MP, would you mind doing something to make my lukes penis grow? ;D and send me progress photos please? "

On Xan (Supergem Spinel) it would have to be the knees. I love that they help him to stand better by locking. But you have to tug on his leg and move it to get him into a seated/kneeling position. His chest loves to flop backwards leaving a nice pretty gap. Adjusted his stringing from the looseness it was when he was shipped. It's a bit better, but he still does this. (He's staying true to character tho, always trying to look bigger than he really is!) Other than that, I love his sculpt.

My other doll (AoD Juli) just kinda falls into a seated position so well, especially when being carried. But my least favorite thing about her is that the S-hook goes into the headcap and the headcap is larger around than the head. I also don't feel comfortable knowing that her hands and feet have metal hooks inside the resin. I just know that they're going to go flying off anytime. ._. I also don't like her huge pointy nipples and her ribs are kinda prominent (yet she has a defined and healthy tummy) She also has a kicking problem but I've been able to get her to stand a lot better after sueding. But hey, she wasn't extremely expensive. :P

 

Here's my list:

Iplehouse SooRi: His knees refuse to cooperate with me, they kick so much, so I jammed some wire in there and did sueding and it's a little better. I also don't like how muscular his thighs are, and his hands are kinda weird to me.

Elfdoll Soah (old body): I keep thinking I'm gonna snap her poor long fingers! I also hate how her feet are the same as the boy feet so she can't fit most SD girl shoes. Her head is an odd size so she's gone through at least 4 wrong-sized wigs.

Elfdoll Red (old body): The little "tuck" under his arms on the torso is annoying for some reason... Also he is a shortie so I have to be careful with buying him pants.

AoD Zi Yuan: Her arms bend a strange way and when bent have a sharpish edge protruding. I sincerely hope AoD changes over to magnetic headcaps if they haven't already because the old hook/resin loop thing is really painful

Dollmore Huey Lewis: His eyes are sooo tiny; how can he see? They're like Gin from Bleach or Brock from Pokemon -__- (edit: I had his eyes opened. Now what bothers me are his knees and how crazy they are when I'm handling him.)

Soom Sabik: Skinny puny little arms. He also has tiny hands and feet, which makes it hard for him to stand.

Soom Super Gem girl body: Again with the skinny arms. But that's all I can complain about!

Leekeworld Brown: Hoo boy... I thought I would not mind the bobble-head effect he has going on, but once I did his faceup I don't like it at all. His knees are also kicky, and sueding/wiring has not helped much. The hands are really girly. Also, as others have mentioned, his genitals leave much to be desired. (edit: couldn't stand him so I am selling him off)

Luts Howl: I never liked the over-definition of his torso, but I got him anyway and he's wearing clothes.

Lati Red body: The knees tend to twist a lot. Don't like his "manhood" either, it's so undetailed and "flat".

 

Souldoll's body scare me beyond normality. Their joints, in particular @_@. I... I don't get them. I understand that this improves mobility and all, and god they just freak me out for some reason... >.>

I used to looove Lu-Wen's hands. They were so delicate, so cute... and then I started to notice that they were in the most unusual and useless positions EVER.

 

Ah, my dear lovely Demon Garden Basil Alex...XD
I love him to pieces, but he has various foibles, such as ever so slightly asymmetrical eyes. One is a teeny tiny bit smaller than the other, literally just a millimeter at the most and it actually took me three weeks of looking at him every day to notice, don't think I can mod it away either, as I did with his droopy eyelid.
He has HUGE hands that, unblushed, look really undefined. A manicure and blushing his knuckles sorted that out pretty well, though.
He has lovely legs, that look great unclothed, but put trousers on him and you realise he has THUNDER-THIGHS! I don't think I'll ever buy a pair of 'off the peg' trousers for him, cos I'm just not confident that they'll fit.
He also refuses to sit. He's a good poser, I honestly think I could stand him up with his arms in the air and come back in six months to find him still in the same position, but sitting unaided? Noooooooo. I'll try changing his elastic at some point, cos suedeing hasn't worked, but unless he's leaning on something he just flops backwards.

 

Of my 5 boys now I can only complain about:

Soom Sabik: compared to his gorgeous muscle body his arms and legs are soooo skinny, it makes me sick. His hands and feet are so small, especially his tiny feet makes him so hard to stand.

Unidoll Real Jace: overall he is a wonderful, muscular, perfect man ...except of his tiny penis... my Iplehouse Akando's small finger is much larger compared to this little piece of resin, even his toes are larger!

 

I only have very minor complaints about mine, at the moment.

Riddick: has the typical DZ knees-popping-out-of-joint issue. He's getting a new double-jointed body, though, so that'll probably be resolved. I've also tightened his elastic twice, but he still flops over at the hips occasionally. I just work around that without thinking about it, but it bothers my sister when she plays with him. So nothing here that is even a minor annoyance, really! (And I LOVE his hands, so graceful!) I wish his head (and headcap) was easier to remove, maybe?

Crow: has leg issues. And boot issues, but I can change that. He seems to have one leg longer than the other, and sometimes the double-joint parts in his elbows and knees get out of position or twisted. His elbows are easy to fix, but the legs are annoying to adjust. He only stands with his knees slightly bent. I'd like it if his head had a little more range of motion, like Riddick's. I wish he had S-hooks in his hands and feet. I wish his headcap DIDN'T come off so easily. I don't like how his ears stick out, or that one falls or flies every time I take off his headcap. That sounds like a lot, but it's really only very minor stuff and mostly fixable. I still love him and wouldn't trade him for the world!

 

UPDATE as i have new boys to complain about XD:

MNF Shiwoo: he's very kicky and due to the column of death in his torso he has "stick-up-his-rear" syndrome. and his head doesnt move well....he's very head goes up. head goes down. thats it XD

Delf El on a Domuya Flexi Perennial body: i dont like the twisty head cap on the El. the body is really floppy. but as i tighten him he gets better. plus short neck. its not too bad, but against my giraffe-neck sapphira and kara klum it looks short.

Leeke D Peanut: same as my shiwoo...head goes up. head goes down. also very kicky. im working on both of them to fix this problem.

DM Pado: nothing. seriously nothing. he's strung perfectly, poses like a dream and is absolutely gorgeous. i loooooooove him.

uh oh, back to my DM Kara Klum again: not so much a complaint as an observation. his feet are huge. HUGE. he's my smallest SD by far and has enormous feet. and his man parts are big enough to get in the way of pants, which makes me laugh. and him smile.

honestly i love all my boys to death...so much that i ignore the "flaws" (i tend to think of them as "quirks"). if they bothered me that much id sell them.

 

well I just don't like the poor poseability Sai naturally has in his head ... he can't look down for example and arms ... they are quite heavy so I can't make him mantain them in certain ways ... I think just that :P

 

I haven't had my boy for very long, but what I have noticed while playing with him is this:

DM Suntan Pado: He stands very well, which I am really happy about- he can even stand on one foot with a bit of work. But his knees only go straight or fully bent, nothing in between. He can't crouch or have his knees slightly bent at all. His right ankle likes to turn outward a little bit- I think something is a bit off with the shape of his foot, but not enough that he falls over (I actually think its cute). His right hand, while very nice, is too "dainty" for the character I want for him. All things I could probably fix, just not bothered enough to try right now :3

 

My latest sculptural pet peeve: No bone structure! I want brow ridges, darnit.

My oldest sculptural pet peeve: Mushmouth! lips that have no edges. :-P

I already complained about eyes that are just holes in the head, so I won't mention that again. Or did I just mention that again? Oh well! XD

My CP Breakaway is on a Type 3 Body, and it royally sucks.
He is SO kicky. ><
He Marches when you're trying to stand him.

 

I would have to say the female Elfdoll breasts are definitely the worst. As much as I like some of the faces I just can't stand knowing what is under the dress/blouse.

Since I'm still a bit new to this, that is my only complaint.
