  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Yes, I would! I can name many anime/manga/video game characters I would love to own mods for. But real people/actors? Nope. Too creepy for me, sadly.

      But I think I would buy more anime like character or my own OCs, instead of actors...
      (wait there was a Robert Downey Jr. head already...I guess he would be my only exeption, because everything of and with him is just plain awesome. ;) )

    3. If I like the character and their design enough I would definitely buy a doll of them!
      Not of a real person though.
      Volks occasionally releases dolls for popular characters that are really well done.
      I preordered the Hatsune Miku Dollfie Dream and would have bought the Belldandy SD if I had enough money.

    4. I think it'd be kind of fun to have a favorite character from something as a doll. It would be kind of fun to get to have a miniature one, especially if I were going to do photoshoots that involved characters. And seeing the person from someone's view of the character, accentuating certain features of a character they love, would be cool to see too.

    7. Actors, no. But if there were official Yu-Gi-Oh Joey Wheeler and Seto Kaiba BJDs, I would totally buy them if I liked how they were sculpted. I could also always just dress my current dolls up as them, but an official BJD would be cool.

    8. Surprisingly not that into human like dolls, but I like dolls that fit into tales, legends, myths. I really like dolls that are actually doll-like. However, I do think that celeb dolls require some excellent skills.

    10. Back in the day, I modded my doll slightly to cosplay the Japanese VK musician Kisaki. I actually got to introduce them, and the real Kisaki absolutely loved him.

      These days, I plan to base some of my dolls personalities and style on musicians, but I'm not going for perfection.. more like my own stylized version of them.

    11. I'd love a doll that looked like Tohru Adachi so much you have no idea. But I have an incoming boy who's gonna follow KAMIJO's dress style and possibly hair as well? Not the facial structure though, not that brave to mod hahaha.

    16. Yes, I'm a fan of Gackt, and there's a good minimee bjd of him. Unfortunately, the one I saw on eBay recently was pretty pricey. Fortunately, since he has such an oval face, a lot of sculpts can resemble him if one gets the eyebrows right. A Cloud minimee is "in the ball park."

    18. For the right price, I might be willing to buy a doll modded to look like a favorite character of mine. At the moment, I am planning on making an SD into one of my favorite anime characters. There won't be any modding, per se, but the principle is similar enough.

    20. i love to see dolls made to look like well-known people/characters, but i doubt i would purchase one that looked like one just because. (Unless i was like my sis and just saw one in the store and bought it based off of looks and later found out it was a specific char?) i would, however, love to get dolls that look like my own original characters... that's actually what first enticed me towards bjd. xD
