Would you buy dolls modded to look like your favourite Character?

I definitly will!! My first doll will look like my favourite character from an anime.

 

I suppose... But I think I would rather mod them myself, all told.

 

I'm trying to figure out which Pukifee I can mod/make into a chibi fourth Doctor. So yeah, totally.

 

That must be really interesting to get a mold which looks similar to my favorite character from manga/anime or game. (Like all handsome guys from Hakuouki...)

 

I would love some cartoon characters as dolls but I don't think I want dolls that look like an actual human beings. I love visiting the wax museum too but I don't want to bring any home with me.

I did really want a Jack Frost from the movie, "Rise of The Guardians". He would make an adorable doll.

 

i really want to moded my favorite character Mak from Yowashi pedal. so im kinda looking for wig but i think i need to order them to specialist ;( all the problem for moded favorite character is money all the time

I love getting my bjd cosplay XD, so i always looking for a doll look like my fav character XD

 

Some dolls even without modding they look like celebrities, such like Iplehouse EID Aaliyah that looks like Rihanna, also Iplehouse EID Rebecca looks like Melanie Laurent and in some cases I have seen EID Lahela looks like Jennifer Lopez, but I'm a big fan of scarlet Johansson and Natalie portman, so I might go for companies that casts special orders to get those two as dolls

Most cases, probably not. But oh man. If I had the skills to make a BJD that looked like the Happy Mask Salesman from Majora's Mask, not only the face but also the outfit and props, I would feel pretty darn awesome xD

I hardly care at all about celebrities, but I would totally break my budget for a bjd of a fav character.

 

Characters yes, I plan to make Kaneki and possible Shuu from Tokyo Ghoul and later I want to make Midouji from pedal. Edit: it happens this doesn't work for me lol I find it limited to work with a character from someone else but I think making a doll cosplay a character is fun. But I need to make my own character.
But real people hold no interest for me, I don't see what would be the fun and is actually very weird.

 

I have 3 dolls that look very much like Korean stars (IH Vera = Shin Min Ah, SD Onulharu = Lee Jong Suk & Elfdoll Rita = Lee Ha Na). NOT an accident, I'm very sure. Especially the Soul Doll. I got them because they look REAL - & I'm very much a KDrama fan anyway. But my dolls shell my characters, not whoever they look like. I also have some dolls that look like certain anime characters - again, they cosplay but they have their own characters.

 

I prefer to mod myself and sculpt myself different Characters. But I will like to by old Sephiroth mini me by Dim and some make up master

 

Personally, I wouldn't. I like my dolls to be original characters I make up myself - that's a huge part of the fun of it for me - and if I had a doll of someone else's character I think it would feel a bit awkward.

 

I have to admit the Tom Hiddleston Loki dolls look amazing! I would totally get that, other than that maybe a young George Takei to go with my star trek collection. I'm horrible at sculpture so I'd have to purchase the sculpts if I wanted them.

 

I would love to have a Loki doll fashioned after Tom Hiddleston in the Avengers. I truly love the way he brought the character and idea of Loki to life.

 

Absolutely. I even based my Ringdoll on the look of one of my favourite anime characters, bonus if anyone can guess.
