1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    3. My Aedoll Mianmian body got here this weekend!

It LOOKS like it will be a good fit for my Xagadoll Mizzle, but I need to get a smaller S hook. The xagadoll body has the same size s hook and... like, it works for her, but it's hard to get on/off without gauging the resin, so I am going to wait until I have a slightly smaller S hook. I'll have to take a look at what I got over Thanksgiving break, since I'll be home and I can fiddle with it. Unfortunately her Xagadoll body's S hook threw a fit and... long story short, her elastic came unstrung and shot into her torso, so I'll fix it then. >_> I've heard the best thing I can do when I have a stringing mishap is just leave it until I'm not actively frustrated, hah.

I'm assuming the S hook Xaga/Asleep Eidolon use now is probably a little bigger than they used to be, considering Mizzle is quite a bit of an older head compared to their newer offerings now. It's too bad DDE's restringing kits don't have extra hooks, lol.

    4. Is Xagadoll normal a good bit darker than mia pink? I am searching for darker ns options with pinkish undertone that could work with Luts peach (obitsu white).

    5. Xagadolls normal is pretty pale, only a touch darker than my Mia pink. Xagas Soom normal might be an option as I’ve heard that Luts Peach is a decent match for Fairyland normal and Xaga/AEs Soom normal is a tad lighter than my fairyland girl. The lightings pretty bad but here’s a photo of them. From left to right it’s FL NS, Asleep Eidolon Soom Normal, Xaga Normal, Xaga Normal and artist head Mia Pink.

    6. Thank you so much. Isn't Soom normal quite yellowish undertoned? I heard it is similar to volks normal.

    7. Soom are known for being a bit inconsistent with resin colours so it probably depends on what sample is being used to colour match to. My only personal point of comparison for Soom normal is Asleep Eidolons colour matched resin which should be the same as Xagadolls as they are sister companies.
This is the chart that shows their Soom normal compared to their other resin colours including their Volks Normal. https://cdn.legenddoll.net/10002/20...06ff13f42.jpg?x-oss-process=image/format,webp

    8. i thought i would post this here--
i was looking to have dolls of two characters who have about a 4cm height difference, so in 1/4 scale that would be about 1cm, which is the listed difference between the X-M-44 (44cm) and the moon shadow boy (43cm). i already had a mini lucas on the xm44, and i asked alice about putting the mini lucas on the moon shadow boy body, and either she said or she said xaga suggested the mini lucas 2.0 might work best (been a while since the emails and it's a bit irrelevant anyway).

the mini lucas and mini lucas 2.0 are actually different sculpts (size wise, the 2.0 is a bit smaller, and some features seem to have been sliiiightly changed either in the shrinking process or in the sculpt itself), so i thought it would be an interesting comparison for anyone who wants to see.

LEFT: mini ash 2.0 on the X-M-44 in peach resin (i believe the shoulder and chest are both standard) -- [both 2.0 dolls were ordered and shipped at the same time but arrived at different times, one in late december 2025 and the other in early january 2026, but they were of course both cast in 2025]
MIDDLE: mini lucas 2.0 on the moon shadow boy body in V. Normal, and i have him modeling one of the constellation boy hands in peach resin.
RIGHT: mini lucas on the X-M-44 in Milk (UV) (normal chest) -- [2023 resin]
BOTTOM: the hands displayed are all constellation boy hands in peach resin, except for the third one which is the default hand of the moon shadow boy in V Normal.

overall i think the 2.0 head sculpts look good on each body individually, but the moon shadow is definitely a bit bobble-headed, especially when put directly next to the 2.0 on the XM. i think it would be less noticeable if you put a 1.0 head on the XM and a 2.0 on the moon shadow if you want to do what i wanted (i might end up swapping out the ash 2.0 for the 1.0). also worth noting that the smaller 2.0 head kind of neutralizes the height difference.

i'm not sure what i'm going to do, i think i'll have to take a two-sided approach and get the larger ash 1.0 head and see if i can find someone to mod the lucas 2.0 head a bit smaller. i think it'll work it'll just need a bit of finagling. i do think the lucas sculpt works better on the 1.0 size in general, something about the chin in particular i'd definitely want sanded down on my 2.0.

as for the hands! i think they work great on either body, but on the moon shadow it's definitely a matter of taste. they look give the body a very long and lanky look and while that's a look i like a lot, i know it's not for everyone, and without shoes it can make the body look a bit short-legged. but if the feet aren't in the picture you're taking they're a good option for extra poses. they are a little big compared to the face, but if the length of them on the arm doesn't bother you i don't think it would bother you up by the face either.
