    1. I finally pluck up the courage to re-string Lara. The last time I had to string a BJD was after I let my Unoa Sist and Lusis kits sat around in their box for ages (it stresses me out just thinking of stringing a bjd). I have been putting off the task of changing Lara's no-shoes-to-wear high heel feet to the more-shoes-to-wear flat feet. She is a so tiny comparing to my Unoa Sist and Lusis!


      Re-stringing her was not easy at all. And I still can't believe the amount of resin bits inside of legs. After much trying and struggling, now Lara has flat feet! Hurray for me~! The smaller feet can definitely wear Momoko shoes, she is wearing Momoko sneakers now. And the sneaker is very roomy, I think even the bigger feet can fit into the sneakers.

    3. I have a Lara, and I find that her high heel legs/feet can't squeeze into Momoko heels- just be careful. I went through a LOT of heels as I tried to find brands/makers that fit.

      Glad to hear that the flat feet can, though, Wintermonkey. It's interesting that there's such a difference between the flat feet and heel legs in size- with the heels, I find that her feet tend to be a hair too big for most things I buy.
      And congrats on the restring! ;)

    4. What size clothes does Lara wear? Anything from a department store?
      Finished up my layaway from a girl in my local comm and I'm pleased to announce that Holly is home! (I kept her original name from her previous owner. C: )

    6. Congrats! I've bought clothes for my gal from sellers on Etsy that say the clothes also fit Barbie. You might have luck with those if they're available where you live... (For the record, my Lara has the original body, and I have her wear the heel legs.)

      PrincessR, I'm not sure if the new feet are the same as the old... Good idea, to check. If they're smaller than the old ones, they'll fit more shoes. :)

    7. My Lara can wear some Barbie clothes, but my Barbie clothes are from a few years back. So I am not sure whether the newer Barbie clothes can fit or not, as I read that the newer Barbies have smaller chest and Lara is very chesty.

      Lara can wear Monster High shoes, but she can't stand in them as the heels are not angled right. If you look at post #67 from this thread, you will be able to see my Lara in Monster High heels. I posted more regularly in the Mature 1/6 Dolls thread last time as I got more responds there, haha... this thread was more of a discussion for the Xagadoll YOSD last time.

      Just my thoughts, I think the heart shaped knees body is not suitable for Lara, as the heart shape knees bodies are more cartoonish. But the heart shaped knees bodies cannot wear Momoko shoes, those bodies can only wear YOSD shoes.

      I have a few Momokos too, and some of my Momokos steal shoes from Barbies. Oh, and the Momoko sneakers that my Lara wears now is the only pair of shoes I tried on her since I re-strung her last night. So I am not sure how other shoes would fit. And I got two pairs of flat feet from Xagadoll, the smaller pair for wearing shoes (Xagadoll's official site say so), and the bigger pair for stable standing when she is bare footed. Here's a comparison photo of Lara's feet with a pair of Rement sneakers.

    13. I was able to get information about which heels fit (& if they sold eyes) from them through Mint on Card... I've never contacted them directly, though.

    15. Does anyone know if the Miki/Kimi hands will fit Lara? I saw a pair of hands on MoC that I really want but it's says they are for Miki/Kimi, also known as type B hands. Miki/Kimi are in the same series as Lara (Red Obsidian) so it would be logical that they would fit but who knows :?

    16. I can't confirm, but Miki and Kimi's hands look bigger than my Lara's hands.

      Edit:
      At first, I thought Kimi and Miki's hands look bigger than Lara's hands, but after looking at Xagadoll's official comparison photo, I think Miki and Kimi's hands might work on Lara.
