1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Y.Cen Dolls Chong Lin

Jan 26, 2021

    1. Best of luck! I’m excited for you! I’ve got months left of waiting still :atremblin

    2. Does anyone know the ankle measurements on the 76cm body? I'm looking for optional feet and Moonlight doesn't have the ankle size listed. :(

    3. I got my shipping notification! Has anyone used China Post Air before? If so, what was your experience like?

    4. I don't speak for myself but have read others go through China Post and delays are a possibility. Was it registered with tracking number, that should be helpful with the waiting, I hope.

      -------

Does anyone have the 77cm body?
How was it in terms of finding clothes? Also has anyone tried hybriding the 77cm body with other doll companies' heads? Can someone please share their experience?

I have three days to decide if I will take the last stock of Chi Ye on offer via Stacy's and wanted to split him with someone else as I already have a 76cm Chong Lin on the way and I want to reassure the person I'm splitting with will not have a hard time with the 77cm class

    5. I got my shipping notification too!

I used China Air Post for random Spreenow/Taobao purchases and imo its pretty fast. I had a shipping notice arrive within a week for some doll clothes and eyes.

    6. I’ve used it for lots of Taobao purchases and eBay purchases, and it usually takes about 1-2 weeks. There can be delays, but in my experience…delays can happen with everything these days

    7. Thank you, everyone! I’ve opted for China Post Air based on your recommendations. :D I can’t wait to see Chi Ye soon!

    8. I did CPA also for my Chi Ye 3.0 (76cm).

    9. I paid my shipping on Tuesday… about how long does it usually take to get your tracking number? I’m not complaining, I’m just excited to finally have this boy home!

    10. Anybody that ordered Chong Lin from Moonlight, get any updates ? I’m close to being able to pay him off…but haven’t heard anything about shipping dates. I saw Stacy’s has him in stock already? That seems really fast… he was just released in Jan.

    11. I ordered Chong Ling from Stacy's but I don't think that he was actually ready yet. They've had the listings for the 77cm version available for a bit so maybe they ordered/ were allocated some extras for late-comers? I thought it would be at least 6 months. Given that Chi Ye's ordering period was in October and we're just seeing them arrive home now, I thought that Chong Lin would be similar.

But they did email me a week or so ago saying that the artist had some extra Chi Ye 77cm that were looking for homes so maybe it was something like that where they had some extra Chong Lin.

    12. That’s what I was thinking, because it said IN STOCK and there were 2 available. But I was confused as it was the F version, and so don’t think he was sold in the previous Chong Lin release?
Like there is no way it can be that quick,I was thinking at least 6m,and it’s only been 3

    13. I was kinda confused at first as well because I was offered by Stacy if I wanted to purchase an in-stock Chi Ye from Stacy's as well, I had to double check that she wasn't offering Chong Lin by mistake. It seems like Stacy had chong lin in stock might be her dealer allocation/quota

    14. Maybe Yicen had some Chong Lin heads ready to go and extra 77cm bodies? I’m still iffy on the size and finding clothes otherwise I would’ve pounced.

    15. I know…I got the 76,as I figured it would fit into some ID75 clothing
But I’m kinda annoyed though ,as I wished I had ordered from Stacy’s to begin with….moonlight hasn’t communicated with me at all, they take like a week to reply (if at all) and then someone was telling me the charged like $300+ for shipping

    16. Possibly on Chi Ye since I was only offered the option for the 77cm body for Chi Ye from stacy.

I am also in the same boat about the 77cm, pretty hesitant too.... i ended up getting him still (clowning is strong, I'd say)

Given how popular the 76 body was, I was suprised that the 77 doesn't get the same love from makers. Right now I'm banking on eventually getting hold of some clothing for the 77cm body made for those 80cm dolls as they become more common.
      :aeyepop:

if its any comfort at all, Stacy hasn't emailed me anything about Chong Lin and I suspect he's still in production...I'm stalking YCen's weibo too just because I need to tide myself over waiting for any news :eusa_pray

    17. I finally got my tracking number! Now I have to stop myself from refreshing it every 10 minutes...

    18. Hello, did anyone have experience with Stacy's ordering Chi Ye from her?

I've asking for updates about the on hand doll I mentioned above and she finally said she will ship him to me today. I'd like to ask if anyone knows the box size and shipping weight of the dolls?

I already paid USD 100 on checkout for shipping (EMS) but I am considering DHL as the alternate option. I was quoted an additional 83usd.

I ask because I'm wondering if this is fair price for shipping as I've only ever ordered from Alice and I bought a fullset 73cm doll from her before I only added 23 USD to get the DHL option on top of the free shipping.

The speed of shipping would likely be the same for me with EMS being slightly slower at +2-3 days...except the chances of me getting taxed if I choose DHL is lower vs if I choose EMS and customs open my box....

    19. Moonlight BJD told me shipping has gone up all over the world. Obviously that’s not Stacy’s… was your purchase pre-pandemic? I noticed a pretty big spike in shipping price during and after the pandemic.

    20. nope I bought him last week! he was an on-hand chi ye from Y.Cen that got offered to her.

The price I got quoted from Alice was just mid last year and and things were already moving at that point so my comparison probably eh.
For context I also live in Asia hence seeing steep shipping fees isn't super normal for me unless its a doll I got from a US seller/dealer
