Yes, they are both tan. It's a lovely color that changes with the light so that might be why they look different to you Here's another of Priya for you - 'cause you asked so nicely LOL Now Outfits by Ban, on Flickr
I am so hoping to add Ziya to my resin family in the future... I'm pretty sure the artist said she was doing another preorder for her next year... She has a new MSD girl named Olive which she just got the resin samples in... Lots to look forward to from YouplaDolls...
She may re-release Ziya but she said she would NOT release her in NS or Tan as she had previously announced they would no longer be available. She does have another sculpt in the works, not sure if she is MSD sized though. You should check out her IG
Just wanted to share this pic of Minni! We've had a heat wave in Finland so I wanted to take some summery photos.
@Ban Sidhe it's one of my favorite photo of Priya ! @Sunstar She is lovely I took a little time to take a photo of my duo
I have been admiring these dolls from afar for quite some time but the price always stopped me. When I saw the notice yesterday about the availability of in-stock dolls, I threw caution (and my wallet) to the winds and ordered tan Vaeron. I love elves and Vaeron is so handsome. I'll have to paint him myself--fingers crossed that I do a decent job of it. I'm so excited for his arrival! Now to plan another elf outfit...
Tan Vaeron arrived today! He is gorgeous--and heavy!--but very stiff and hard to pose. His torso joint won't move at all. Has anyone else had that issue with the male dolls? Right now I'm waiting for a day without humidity so I can do his makeup. He's wearing an Iplehouse outfit for JID boys at the moment, which fits pretty well but doesn't particularly say "elf". Also, after trying a bunch of size 6-7 wigs on him, it looks like I'll be shopping for size 5-6. He's got small feet, so I'm looking for shoes as well. Dolls just love to spend my money.
Got a break in the humidity yesterday so I painted Vaeron. I also found 2/3 of an elf outfit I made for another doll. The tunic is missing, so I'll have to make another. I found sneakers from back in the day when I had a Limhwa boy; so far they're the only shoes that fit. He's borrowing a wig until I decide what style and color I want to buy. Am I crazy or does he look a little like Meghan Markle?
Hey! Just try to push up the torso, sometimes the resin is blocked after a long time. It'll move correctly after ^^
I can push up a tiny bit in the front (about 5mm) and not at all in the back. I'll keep trying. It has been hot and humid here lately. Will he move more easily when the weather becomes cooler and drier?
I tired to pm you but your inbox is full. It's not normal than you can't move the torso. If you pull the torso, can you see the elastic? Maybe it's a string problem. As you can see in this owner picture the torso moves well normally : Youpladolls Vaéron box-opening & review (you have other pictures in the album) If you still have the same problem and you know how to restring a doll, you can try it!
@Youpla - Thanks for the information about my mailbox. I've cleared it now. I did some more pulling on Vaeron's torso and managed to move it, both forward and backward, as well as pull it upward. Maybe he just needs some regular exercise. I hope his strings will relax in their own time so that I don't have to restring him. Restringing always reminds me that I don't have the muscle strength I had when I was younger. Those box-opening photos are excellent!
