Your Doll Plans for 2012

My plan for 2012 is to focus on the dolls that I already have and not buy anymore unless they're on my wishlist and the price and timing is right. I have 3 dolls at home with 3 on the way, and that's quite a lot for me so I need to tone it down, haha.
I also hope to attend at least one convention or meet-up with one or more of my dolls.

 

I am pretty sure I have the simplest plans of anyone that I made last year for this year. ^^;;;;

◎ Buy a new wig for my boy (I already have glass eyes that came default that I will use as new eyes).
◎ Buy some more clothing and accessories so he has some new things.
◎ Make some more clothing and accessories.
◎ Take to certain events/places for photos.

So far going well on this plan; ordering everything hopefully tomorrow and already started on making things. ^^

. . . . that is pretty much it for plans. ^^

 

Oh man... xD I shouldn't have dollie plans for this year, since I'm in expensive school and going on a trip abroad, but I've spent several years doing nothing with my dolls due to busy-ness, and I've caught the fever all over again!! >w<;;

I'm hoping to get at least one new doll this year, and all three of the ones that I want are from Iplehouse... xD I am so enamored with them, it's ridiculous! I'll likely go for a little JID Collin first, to be my little Zac, and to finally be the apprentice to a friend's doll, as he's been waiting so patiently for so long...

I also really want to get my Akando a faceup finally, since I received him blank back when he went Special Edition, and before the UV protect realskin came out... and so unfortunately, he's yellowed some, even though he's only been outside once and very, very briefly... I'm trying to decide if I should seek someone out to maybe blush the slightly yellowed parts of him to match the rest of him, or not worry about it, since it's only really obvious when you really look at him... guh, if anyone knows someone who does awesome blushing like this and faceups, or you do, I'd love to hear about it! xD;

I changed my dolly plans... as my signature shows.

I decided to go on ahead and buy my floating head his body...and everything else he needs. Then I'm either going to save to buy a different girl from Dollzone, or I'm going to save and buy both girls I want from Dollzone at the same time.

 

I had plans to get my Dollzone Cherry.......and then I saw the Asleep Eidolon Lorelei human sculpt.....and I fell. Hard. Now I'm currently saving for her, plus bodies for my two floating heads.

 

I'm a little late on this but I have some plans for 2012 ^^ I'd like to get a girl and finish her within the year - complete her with clothes, hair and eyes. I'd also like to finish all my dolls face-ups and get them all substantial wardrobes. Then, if I have any money left over, I'll put it towards a Spiritdoll Jade boy or Iplehouse Carina C: First and foremost though, I'd like to get a girl and finish my dolls!

 

I plan to instead of buying more dolls, buy more clothes and wigs for my dolls at home. I plan to focus on the dolls I have at home instead. However, since I didn't accomplish this last year, I'm not sure whether I'll be able to resist the new dolls that are coming out this year either. I've already entered for 2 of the dolls Volks is currently offering. But I plan to stop after this dolpa, if possible, unless there is a doll that is so beautiful that I can't resist.

 

I desperately want to complete two character-based dolls that I have been planning and planning for longer than a year now. All I need is the appropriate bodies and clothes and it's just about done.

After that, I want to try out a lot of other dolls (Iplehouse, Dollstown, Rosette Dolls, etc. :3) and venture into different sizes. I also want free time so I can be able to customize my dolls again.

 

My plans are to build up a mini clothing collection for my existing dolls. While I love my mnf in her stock outfit, I've really become enamoured with some clothing on etsy. My bunnies are in desperate need of a wardrobe too.

Additionally, I'd like to hopefully hunt down a doll on my wants list if no new dolls come out that I want this year.

 

My plans for 2012 were to only buy 2 heads for a sd body and a dollfie dream I have.

I did not want to buy any more dolls.

But so far I have

1-Put a Baha on layaway

2- Got the DD head ( it was a present)

3- And bought a Little Monica head that I think will work for my 60 cm body. At least I hope it does

4- I am also eyeing another doll, what is wrong with me? I don't need anymore dolls.

 

1. I hope to buy body for my minimee head.
2. Begin to sew clothes.
3. New make-up.
4. Buy one more head-dream )
5. And maybe at the end of the year, buy the body.

 

I hadn't had any plans for 2012, but I ended up buying a Leeke Mabel head off the marketplace here. I was thinking it'd make a cute younger version of my Migidoll Owen. The resemblance is great in profile but clearly needs some mods from the front. Gonna try doing 'em myself, so hopefully that goes well. I already have an extra pair of custom Mystic eyes for the Owen that will work on Mabel, which saves another 9 month wait. Yay! So I just need clothes, wig, and then I plan to send him off to Angell Studio for their color-matching body service and custom make up to match the Owen. Gotta start saving~!

 

My plans for 2012 include buying/making clothes and accessories, trying to paint a tattoo, doing more photoshoots, and maybe buying a second doll.

this three are the OC that I have planned to create in to bjd. Apart from that, with my dolly hunt completed, I hope to do more photoshoots and clothes shopping this year.

 

This year I want to start doing more photoshoots, and making more clothes, both for personal use and Etsy. I also want to get a YoSD, as well as a boy dolly (since I don't have any boys!), as well as a body for my floating head.

 

- I still need bodies... 6 in fact
- Dream : try to find an IM Hound and buy him
- try to find SOOM Bazael, Iplehouse Aurora head
- get clothes for my boys (some are naked but I'm very demanding concerning their clothes so it's complicated...)
- stop having many ideas of pictures etc... involving characters I don't already have dolls for !

 

As a BJD newbe,

My plans for 2012 (in no particular order):
1) get my first BJD
2) Take her apart and try restringing
3) Learn how to make a good face up (and practice!!)
4) Sew clothes that fit the doll concept
5) Get different eyes so that concepts can be tried
6) Learn how to make wigs
7) Examine ideas for doll jewelry
8) Find a Doll meet so that I can see dolls live
9) Find the time to do all this while working to support my different hobbies.....

 

I'd really like to make a yosd size house for Ember, and finish the one for rp Soso
