    2. I plan to buy Fairyland Bisou this year, but havent been able to yet. I really need to buy clothes for my other 2 and work on their story line.

    3. Originally, I planned to get myself an Iplehouse Eric with my tax refund in February. I finally had a great job that paid well, plenty of savings, and I felt comfortable enough to drop the big dollars on an Iplehouse boy.
      Then... my company folded and everyone unexpectedly lost their jobs. ^^; So I had to use my tax refund on living rather than playing. (And a little on playing... I bought a Minifee during that dry spell.)

      But I'm determined to get my Iplehouse Eric this 2012! With the year coming to a close, I've set a date for my Iplehouse purchase... This coming Monday! >A<! As in, October 15th. I feel sort of bad because I have another doll on the way and I don't know how I feel about expecting two dolls at once... it's a new experience for me! Hahaha.

      So my doll plans were to just get my Iplehouse Eric, a doll for my character Setsume, and a doll for my character Qai... but they changed to getting a MNF Ryeon Boy (Named Nikolai), an HDF Taffy (Named Rhee) and NOW an Iplehouse Eric (who will be affectionately called Inu.)

      The reason why my doll plans changed so drastically this year (aside from the six month hiatus from working) is because of my very last purchase of 2011: a Crobidoll E-Line Kitten Lance named Reiji. That boy has turned my doll-collecting world upside down. He wants me to get all the dolls in his story first, which wouldn't be an issue -- Inu was supposed to be that -- except characters I'd like to make into resin constantly pop up in the story! But he's impossible to refuse... he's got that knowing smile and those eyes AND THOSE CHEEKS. BAH.

      2012 has been a busy doll year for me! I'm usually a two dolls a year person, but not only am I getting three this year... one of them is going to cost me a ton. I've already told myself I won't go crazy on dolls next year, but we'll see how that goes. >_>

    5. My immediate plans are to purchase an Only-doll Yue Er head and Doll Chateau body for my hybrid. I would LOVE to get a Pukifee Mio or Realpuki Roro by the end of the year too, but I don't see it happening at this point. But who knows, maybe I'll get some Christmas money from my mom for it. *shrugs*

Although I do plan to add another doll to my collection sometime in the next calender year.... my goal is actually to go through all my doll clothes and accessories and finally sell the things I do not use. All my kids can use a bit of a makeover. Gotta spoil the resin children at home a bit before I bring another dolly home ^_^

    7. Nearly 9 months in, and what have I actually achieved...

      I did so little of it- I am so terrible at sticking to doll plans! :o
      Since making my original 2012 plans, I acquired yet another doll and put another on layaway...
      My new plan is to not buy anything else for this year (except for layaway doll that will need an outfit, wig, and eyes), sell extra stuff (already started, so yay...), finish the esthetic work on ALL of my dolls, sell my no longer wanted dolls, and make plans and figure out how much it will cost to get all of my current dolls to look exactly how I want them to look.

      I finally have so many that I can ignore one for a month or so then feel like I got a new doll when I pick it up again, so perhaps I will finally stop acquiring new ones and truly work on my current collection in 2013... I hope. -___-

    11. I bought: AS Jeffrey, AS Cinderella, AS Bella, LTF Ante, DK Rena, KDF Yuz and IH Isar. Only two of those were planned :sweat
      I made a few sales, also unplanned.

      Maybe next year I'll refrain from making plans? Although they are already starting to take shape, especially because the first two I mentioned are OC's and have made me want to shell all the guys in their "group". Oh dear...

    14. What a great thread, I have so many:
      -furnishing my doll room and possibly making more
      -learning how to do faceups for my personal collection really
      -improving my sewing to make clothes for my dolls
      -learning more about my own dolls and their personality and how they relate to each other
      -learning how to better photograph my dolls
      -adding new member to my family
      -the list is never ending for me, one more adds up everyday lol

I wanted to refrain from adding more family members this year in order to save up for school and payments... but I really can't keep my mind away from Loongsoul MuXuan and Immortality of Soul G. My heart aches just thinking about them! <3 Maybe I will treat myself by the end of the year. ; )

    17. Well, I only had one plan for 2012:
      - start my own BJD company.

      Now that this is achieved (well... the sales have started, so fingers crossed to see how that goes!), I keep coming back to wanting a Soom Supergem male body from 2007 as a potential match for my Williams head. The combination is just too beautiful and the body is tall and muscular, without being completely buff, like so many of them are today. It's perfect for Remo.

      But - because I'm painstakingly careful - I'll wait to see how the sales go first, before I risk spending this much money.

    18. I don't really think I stuck to the plans I made early this year, but I have made pretty good work of my over-all doll plans in 2012! :3

      The very first time I found out what a BJD was was when I was about 15. The first doll I ever wanted was a LUTS Dahlia. Some years later, when I finally decided on buying a doll, I had trouble deciding between her, a PW Goldie and an IH EID Carina. They are sort of my "original grail dolls", I'd been drooling over them long before I decided to get involved with this hobby. Goldie was the first one I got, and then I found a Dahlia on the Swedish BJD forum. The other day I bought a Carina, making my list complete! She hasn't arrived yet but I'm thrilled none the less. 2012 is pretty much the year I completed my original list. Sure, I have found other must-haves since I first discovered this hobby, but it feels great to have found all my initial loves. :)

      -To do a faceup on my boys before christmas
      -Finishing their "story" and personalities
      -Get a body for my floating head!
      -Start making clothes
      -Save money for more dolls ^3^

    20. We're nearly done with 2012 so I'm trying not to get too unrealistic with my grand doll masterplan >]

      - Buy a DC youth male body and a DC Olivia head for Emi (blank!) - Saving money like a boss.
      - Sew Emi some clothes. - On hold until I get his body.
      - Do or commission a face up for Emi - On hold until I get his face.
      - Clean off Mikki's face up, do or commission a new one - On hold until I buy the tools for it.
      - Sand down Mikki's body, make it more feminine OR buy a new one - On hold until the weather allows for it.
      - Plan out a body and a head hybrid for Tooru - Workin' on it.
      - Buy said body and head hybrid for Tooru - See step above.

      Unless someone decides to spoil me with money for Christmas (Or I miraculously win in Lotto) I think I can forget all about the last step, but a girl can dream ~( * 3 *)~
