It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. My first doll was not a doll, but a head. It was a Doll Chateau Agatha. I never bonded with her even after she got a body. The first full doll I bought was a Dollzone Carter, which I also did not bond with at all, lmao. Sometimes it takes a while to find the doll that speaks to you.

    2. My first doll is my Akagi Doll Ban (profile pic) I got in 2017 I fell in love with him and for a whole year I only had him, I love him so much ❤️:)

    3. The doll that I technically bought first was DD Saber Alter when she was first released. I couldn’t stand the waiting until she was released, though. So, I ended up buying the standard DD Aoi later and received her first. I consider Aoi to be my first.

    4. My first doll was an Impldoll Joshua, and while waiting for him to arrive I ordered 2 others oopsies. He took almost twice as long as expected to arrive, but still managed to make it to me first. I love him dearly, even if we (him and I) are still trying to figure out what his style is.

    5. She is a secondhand Volks SDM F-16. I remember seeing that face sculpt when I first lurked in the hobby in like 2006, and finding it deeply off-putting, yet (obviously) memorable. Now I'm just in love with her and think she's beautiful.

    6. My first ordered doll was DollZone Gray, but first received was Switch head Ruan. So, technically, I have two "first dolls" - I got impatient waiting for Gray so ordered another one, and it came quicker!

      I can't decide which one to treat as first, so they are both "equal" - Gray because it was so damn hard to make that initial decision to buy him and Ruan because he was there all alone for two months before Gray made it safely home.

    7. My first doll was a Customhouse Little Junior Zephyrose who I purchased off of eBay in 2006ish. Although I no longer have him, he will always remain the first I ever actually had in my possession.

    9. My first doll is my Luts Woori! He is now one of 4 dolls to have survived my dropping the hobby and selling most of my dolls.
      I still love him quite a bit and can't wait to finally update his face-up. I do find it funny though that Woori doesn't seem to be a particularly popular sculpt lol, I've searched around on here and I've only seen a tiny handful of fellow Woori heads in use!

    10. VOLKS SDG Megu 2010 version (a standard model at the time) and have had her for nearly 10 years.
      Needless to say that I absolutely adore her (F-01 is perfection) and she's had a monumental impact on my collection:lol:

    11. If we are talking 1/3 scale, then my first one was a DDs. My first doll I ever got was a 1/6 scale Hot Toys figure. It was Baby Doll to be exact. I had a big crush on Emily Browning when I was younger.

    12. My first BJD was Hyacinth, the MYOU Delia in my avatar. I still think she's absolutely beautiful and wonderfully easy to sew for, but she's currently in storage because I don't have room to display most of my dolls! I only have my three smallest BJDs and my representative favorite play dolls/off topic vinyl dolls on display at the moment. I hope I can move somewhere next year with a little more display space!

    13. My first bjd was Eshe as Isabella. She has painted eyes and so I'm not sure if she fits with this site. The next doll I ordered was Bella 2 by Doll Chateau. I love both of them.
