1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

your most regretted bjd size?

Feb 8, 2016

    1. My first doll was a 70cm, and really I have stuck with dolls in the large range ever since. My crew are 60cm at the smallest, most of them in the 65cm range, a couple at 70cm and one 80cm. I tried a couple minis and tinies but only one has really made the cut, my Souloid, I think being a little robot makes him special enough that I don't find him an awkward size.

    2. My size range is sort of all over the place. The only size I can really see regretting would be a really small, really mature doll. I don't think I'd like how it would look with my other dolls.

    3. Hmmm. I think I've more regretted a company then a size... Though I will say. I don't think I'll go back to msd size because of the bad taste I have from the company I used to like. So... I sold off all my msd size dolls and right when I was about to leave the hobby. I found a reasonable priced lati yellow, and bought her. Ever since then I can't seem to buy anything else but lati yellow size. I've been trying to get into sd size but get a bit scared that I won't like them as much as my little girls.

    4. This was interesting. I mean, I never saw an SD in presence yet...
So I m curious now... When you says that the only things you could do with tiny sizes was to chenge their clothes once in a while and never play with them so much...
But this is what make me curious to have an SD one day... After all, even with dolls in bigger size at the end, dont you do the same things? Dress them by changing clothes and sit them down again...
I wonder. . . do you play more with big dolls size for what reason? I always thought that tiny dolls were more playable" as was more easy to handle!
Im so curious one day to get an SD! One day I will have one!

    5. Definitely SD. Big, hard to keep standing, and since my girl is large busted because I'm an idiot, very irritating to sew for. I also totally understand what a lady said to be at one of my first Doll Norths about Yo-SD's being like potato chips. I only want more.

    6. With the exception of my tiny Naga I tend to regret getting anything under 65cm. I have found I am only really interested in the big and more mature looking guys. I have sold 3 msds and 2 60cm and still toy with selling my last msd boy but I really love his face.

    7. I have yet to regret any of my dolls, although I nearly bought a Puki (the tiny ones) and I'm very glad I did NOT....
