You're gifted $1000. What do you buy?

Update: As I no longer have pukifees, I'd get custom fantasy outfits made for a few of my dolls.

 

I’m pretty ok with the number of dolls I have (4, waiting for my 5th to arrive), so I’d focus on things for my dolls.

I’d buy really nice wigs and accessories for my two tall YOSDs. I love those super soft, natural alpaca wigs (bought three for my 1/8 tinies), but they are SO pricey!

I’d also buy stuff to make a 1/4 sized roombox complete with trim, windows, parquet wood flooring, and cushioned furniture. Something I’d really like to have for my larger dolls is some sort of environment that makes them look more grounded in reality. Chairs that they can actually fit in, a bookshelf full of little books that fit into their hands, little pictures on the walls. I love things that fit to scale.

Probably track down a limited edition Crobidoll since they got me into this hobby and yet I doubt I'll ever own one lol

 

buy volks momoko, get her a wig and some lolita clothes, and save the rest for some volks heads

 

I would buy and SD or MSD from Dust of Dolls. The dolls are very beautiful.

 

Bodies. I have a few heads that I would love to get bodies for. Get my dollie family completed.

 

If I were given $1000, I would probably split it up better than just spending it all on doll stuff as our house needs some things yet too, but I would definitely buy a few small things or put away some money toward a new doll.

Now, if I were given $1000 specifically to spend on doll stuff, right now I would definitely buy the Luts Blanchet in Brown skin I've been wanting to shell a character, along with her arrival accessories (though we know her style may very well change as soon as she gets home, I want to be able to have her as a full doll until I can afford other things), and the backpack prop I need for my first story photoshoot with my boy. If there was any money leftover, I would get my DZ Demon Egg painted as I was hoping to afford that a month ago...

 

Doll wise, I'd probably buy one of my grails although house stuff has always come first (curse my adult brain).

Or I'd buy a few custom items for them.

 

If the money is to be spent on doll-related stuff only then I'd spend some part of it on face-up commissions and another part on some nice shoes/clothes for my dolls.

 

Resinsoul Mi, Myou doll Carr and Doll Family H Edwin. Then wigs and shoes with whatever's left XD

 

Ok, I was literally just gifted 1000, and I bought a Spiritdoll Holly ($460). I'm going to wait and spend some time giving careful thought to the wig/eyes/outfit I want for him, but that will be another $200 probably. And then I'm going to spend the rest on lolita lol

I have a couple dolls I'd love to buy from Iple directly. Or I'd buy another of my grails.

Custom outfits maybe and eyes.

It's tough to say, though I'd probably do a doll first.

 

I would buy a DC Y-body-05 for my floating head, Stevie. I would probably spend the rest on shoes and accessories that I couldn't make for her.

I know right? Always so hard to choose. I really wish I could find my fullsets I want. It'd be easier lol.
At least then I only have to hunt shoes, unless they come with them.

 

If I was given $1000 for just doll things I'd buy a couple of my grail dolls - or one doll and clothes for it

If the money was for anything, I'd be responsible and put at least half towards paying something off but 0f course would still get a doll - I'm weak haha

 

If I had a thousand dollars I would buy a smol anime doll and all the stuff I need for it and a PS5 if I can find one. LOL

 

If it was for doll related stuff only I'd probably snag a cyclops from the current Villitunes pre-order, maybe grab a second as a friend and spend the rest on an OT doll that's been sitting in my cart since the middle of last month, some more msc and then clothing and/or other things needed for my gang.
