Finally bit the bullet and placed an order. Mint grey Velo with the double jointed body, changing hands/feet (because I regretted not getting them after ordering Aurum), the special gold pearl antlers (no idea who's getting those yet, but they looked great), extra elastic so I can do some restringing so certain dolls aren't so brutally tight, and the long blanched almond gift wig in KDF size. I'll be curious to see how long it takes to get it all.
Good choice!! I really like Velo, and those antlers are gorgeous! I have also made up my mind: I ordered a Zuzu26 Truffle in lavender! My official return to the hobby after 6 years away, woooo!
update on my mini zuzu collection here hihi!!! i have my own lil mario and bowser hihi found it funny i wish i could buy more kitties but the newer one only have half open eyes =_=;;;; but theyre adorable if they had open theyr eyes if it make sence right anyhow i love the outfit brand of lalaloopsi very much haha as you can see in the picture right is there a way or a persone in quebec that know how to modify some eyes thanks
EYES : 16MM L.G EYES- NO.40 its says on the luts pages but mine all of my zuzu eyes are mostly 14 mm i prefer them that size lutsdoll co.,ltd.
I’m glad to hear it poses well! The couple of videos I saw seemed promising. I’m super excited about it—the slightly odd size of the basic Zuzu body is what kept me from buying one years ago. They seemed like such a pain to dress. As a bonus, I really like the proportions of the 26 body with the Zuzu head

Chuffed to receive teal eyes as well. I really like the proportions of the Zuzu head on the Zuzu26 body. My only body complaint other than her being strung INSANELY tight is that I didn’t realize the knees were single jointed, which I hate, but that’s on me! The wig is from Etsy, it’s super nice but I’m not sold on the color now that I’ve seen it against her resin. It just looks blonde, which doesn’t feel right to me for a purple dog LOL Help me name her? EDIT: updates now that I’ve actually had a chance to play around with her…the knees are double jointed. She’s just strung so tight that they aren’t engaging quite the way they should. They want to buckle so badly that I wouldn’t trust her to stand right now, and one doesn’t want to bend all the way. We’ll get there. Overall quite happy with the engineering on the body. Arm posing is great (and the sculpting on those little hand paws is to die for, squee). The thigh joint is a really nice feature that allows for an impressively naturalistic range of range of motion through the hips. She needs some sueding at the neck to keep her head from tipping forward but that’s no biggie. I love her ears. They seat completely flush against her head (pet peeve when fantasy parts gap) and the magnets are so strong that not only do they stay on securely over a wig, they actually help hold the wig on!
So I got my order! ...and there's a slight error. And by slight I mean HE TALL. whoops by Cryptic Cryptid, on Flickr See, I ordered the type 2 zuzu regular body; my order history has the record of it. What I got is a Zuzu26. I double checked and yes, I definitely paid the regular Zuzu price. After getting somebody else's tracking earlier, I'm kinda wondering if somebody out there is going ??? at a much shorter Velo than they ordered...
Did you order directly from Luts or a distributor? Cause you can contact them of the mistake if you wanted the regular sized.

Oh boy, that must have been an 'ummm?' when you opened the box! It'll be interesting to see the character if you do decide to keep it
I hadn't been able to work much on my dolls this year but I did finish doing up my Truffle as a boarder collie! I used to have an imaginary boarder collie dog called Timmy so it seemed a fun idea to base the doll on. I really love the zuzu bodies, they're easy to create expressive poses with (edit- got the sculpt name wrong ^^)
Omg @Epicari they are adorable! I had a border collie when I was a child and she had the same coloring. Absolutely adore what you've done with them! I have a Zuzu26 Fenny that I haven't done anything with. Seeing your customization really makes me see that the biggest issue I've had with my Fenny is it doesn't really look like a fox to me. Perhaps I'll turn my Fenny into a corgi.
