It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.Dismiss Notice

RosettaDoll
RosettaDoll is a South Korean company run by sculptor Ku Jeong Eun, not to be confused with Rosette School of Dolls. The company originally intended to call themselves Memoria Doll, seeing the names oftheir Flickr and Blog page. According to RosettaDolls blog, the name change was inspired by the Rosetta Stone, an ancient artefact that helped translators decipher Egyptian hieroglyphs. RosettaDoll's heads are fairly large at 9-10", and were released in one pre-order period per head. So far, the team has met "difficulties" in the re-release schedule according to their latest blog post from February 2014. Rosettadoll can be considered on an extended hiatus.
Dolls
Rosetta's dolls were pre-ordered for a limited time in 2012 only. Rosettadoll has stated on their blog they will not be sculpting any new heads in the future, but plan to re-release the existing sculpts over the course of 2013 and 2014. So far, this has not happened yet.
