The RealFee is Fairyland's line of 19cm dolls. This line was sculpted by the Fairyland/Cerberus Project with fullsets designed by Fairy's Atelier. The first release was through Fairyland and their dealer DenverDoll Emporium in May of 2015. They were able to be purchased in Beautiful White, Natural, Tan, and Designer Mint, and they sold out by June of 2015. They are not always available for purchase but had a second release in June of 2016, and another release during the winter event in 2017-2018.

Head

In addition to the new ECS for the RealFee body, Fairyland also made an "Easy Eject System" or EES for easy 'swift' exchanging of faceplates for the RealFee line. While some notes the common issue with Fairyland dolls having loose faceplates (which is often remedied by using eye putty or washi tape), others had to use more force than usual in order to remove the faceplates. RealFee faceplates have 10 spots in which to use magnets, it is recommend to use eye putty to hold them in place as one may want to move the magnet placement later.

Body types

Fairyland offers a more unique body type for RealFees compared to most small doll which includes a differentiated body for the male and female dolls. Before their release, all Fairyland dolls smaller than the LittleFee were all on angel bodies where there was no difference between male or female dolls. RealFees also have interchangeable fantasy parts. In order to help make the changing of parts easier for their customers, Fairyland created a new system they called the "Easy Change System" or ECS which attaches the torso to the bottom with a hook and ring with both parts of the doll strung separately.

Fantasy Bodies

Common Issues

Common issues with the RealFee are the same as with most Fairyland dolls including thin resin and loose faceplates. Some orders also came in showing sanding marks and light sanding. Bodies also were sometimes strung very tightly, worrying many that it would break the hook and ring mechanism. At the initial release in 2015, some had issues with posing the Bunny fantasy body, but it was found that by holding the feet very tightly to the surface of the standing area helped. The initial release also saw some faceup discrepancies with May's faceup as her eyebrows were often different than the promo pictures.

Hybrid compatibility

Fairyland created face connectors so that one could use Pukifee or Littlefee faceplates with the RealFee bodies and fantasy bodies. During the initial release, the buyer was able to choose and receive one as a gift. These connectors are also available for purchase, even when RealFees are not available for purchase. Littlefee hands also fit well on the RealFee wrist knobs although some believe the hands to look too large and comical. The boy and girl RealFee hands do have slight differences between them.

With the purchase of June and Haru, you got a tail connector to add the tail from Rus. If you bought a fullset Rus and a fullset RealFee, you would get a clear smokey tail as a gift. The magnets were noted to be weak however and many had to opt for stronger magnets so the tail wouldn't fall off. Purchasing two fullsets (a Rus and a RealFee) also got you the wing connectors. The wing connectors would allow for one to attach the Rus wings to your doll but only at size LittleFee and up as the RealFee and smaller could not support the weight.

With the purchase of Coco and Toki, one could get a tail connector to add the tail from Ruca. Once again, the magnets were noted to be weak if you wanted to add the long tail.

With the purchase of Luna and Eva, one could get wing connectors for the centaur wings.

The Realfee boy torso does not fit well on the girl legs or vice versa. Those who have tried this have noted gaping in the back of the doll, and it causes the belly button to not sit at the proper place (it's too low in the case of the boy torso and girl legs, for example).

One Hybrid that works well is the Realfee head fits well on the DollPamm Arubi body with little alteration. *photo

The Designer Mint color was noted to be different than Luts, being less bright and more of a blue mint, not green. It is also important to note that Designer Mint is different than Pastel Mint, as the Pastel Mint released with Mari is more of a true mint and more green than the original Designer Mint.

Auntbear made a database[1] of what should fit realfees. Listed below are some of the options that have been used by members according to the discussion threads.

Shopping for RealFee

Wigs:
Most 5/6 wigs will fit Realfees, some 6/7" wigs (with a wig cap) may fit as well:

Eyes:
Realfees come with a random pair of 14mm eyes; 10~14mm may fit but 12mm is the most common.

Shoes:
RealFee human feet are 3cm long and 1.5cm wide.

Clothing: RealFee can use some PukiFee dresses as tops (but some will be tight around the chest), and much of the Blythe clothing also fits a little snugly (dresses must be knee length on Blythe and free around the hips, capris can be used as pants-pants and skirts don't usually work unless they have elastic waist and would be more baggy on a Blythe). Here is a thread of *Realfee trying on Blythe dresses. Many have had luck with the Luts Zuzu Delf Anthro clothing which has a [forum]. Many have found that the 8 inch playdolls clothing (such as that for Ginny, Madame Alexander, Kish Riley, Tonner-Marley Wentworth, Our Generation mini and Lori by OG) fit with minor alterations, and there are many patterns for this size available online. One also noted that the Sparkle Girl doll clothes fit, although dresses fit more like drop waist tops, and some Barbie clothing also works although pants and dresses must be altered as they are long.

Other Fantasy Parts and Props: RealFee work well with props made for 8' dolls. There are also other companies whose fantasy parts work with the RealFee line. The prizes in Kinder Surprise Eggs have also been noted to be good scale for RealFee.
