Volks released Iris and Johanna as a Super Dollfie 16 female dolls. They are the same headmold. Iris is the normal skin version and Johanna white skin version. they are a part of the Volks Journey to Dream Nights story arc as Chapter 3 "The Snow White". It is interesting to note that the normal skin Iris is the Snow White of the story (who according to the story had a very pale complexion, hence the name) and Johanna is the Queen.

Story

Welcome, one and all. How about I tell you another of my favorite stories tonight? For sure it'll distract you from everything you're a-frettin' over. It's a story from the distant, distant past, from a time when people's wishes still came true.

Far, far off in the distant North, there was a country of beautiful winters. Now of course the spring and autumn were lovely too, but it was the winter time above all, when the entire country was shrouded with snow, that warmed the hearts of the people.

On one such beautiful, sparkling winter morning, the Queen who ruled over the country was doing her needlework, while gazing out at the snow from one of the palace windows. So fascinated was the Queen with the beauty of the fluttering snow that she accidentally pricked her finger on her needle.

Drip... drip... drip...

The blood that fell from the Queen's finger dyed the pure white snow a vivid red. As she looked at it, the Queen thought to herself, "Is it not beautiful? If I were but to have a child as white as this snow, as red as this blood, and as black as the windowsill upon which I sit, surely the King would be overwhelmed with happiness."

Very soon after that, the Queen gave birth to a daughter. The Princess was so incredibly beautiful that rumors of her spread as far as the spring country, and of course the autumn and summer countries too. Because, you see, she was as white as snow, as red as blood, and with hair as black as the windowsill.

The King gave the Princess the special name of 'Iris', and lavished her with attention. Oh yes he did, even more than the Queen that had born this precious daughter for him...

With each passing day, Iris grew more and more beautiful. The Queen looked at her daughter, nestled up close against the King just as if they were lovers. She could not be sure of the King's affection for her, and so she turned to the mirror hanging in her room.

"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall. Who is the fairest of them all?" "My Queen, my Queen. You are the fairest one of all."

Yes. Every day, the Queen stood before the mirror and repeated these same words. And then, one beautiful winter day, as the snow spiraled down outside, the Queen asked the mirror this:

"Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest of them all, and the most loved by the King?" "My Queen, my Queen. You are the fairest one of all. But the one most loved by the King..." The mirror's words... Although nobody knew, it seems the Queen could not dislodge those words from her mind.

It is after that that the tale of Queen Johanna and her daughter Iris truly begins, but I'll leave it here for today. How about I have you listen plenty to my Dream Night stories again some other night? Until then, why don't you have yourself a little rest?

The tale of Princess Iris, as beautiful as the snow, and Queen Johanna. Can you see these two beauties reflected in the mirror of your heart? A mysterious tale, where the tears of your heart will glisten within the beauty. Don't miss the continuation of this story!
