i teetered a lot on what i wanted to call her, but i decided on "claire" eventually, but then i wanted her and kyle to both have K names, so i changed the spelling to "klaire"

klaire has a twin brother named kyle. they are very close, though they aren't particularly nice to one another. she is the only person who always sees through kyle's manipulative behaviours. she never gets mad at him, though, even when he wrongs her. they are both very affectionate towards one another. he has screwed up many of her relationships, but she doesn't hold it against him.

when young, kids teased klaire for looking "like a guy" so she grew out her hair. this got the attention of a few boys as she reached high school and her hair was down her back. she keeps it long and is more comfortable that way because she is taunted less.

she used to date cecil, but they went their separate ways and had a very explosive breakup. she dumped him dramatically, telling him she didn't think he was a very good person and he didn't deserve her. cecil didn't disagree. he was going through a rough patch in his life and he was all over the place. he cleaned himself up since then and has become the best friend of kyle, klaire's twin. now she has to see a lot of him. she tries to be civil, but sometimes anger gets the best of her when she remembers how rocky their relationship was.

in the future, klaire cuts her hair short again - the way she wore it when she was young. she doesn't care that people still mistake her for a boy. her and cecil end up together again. they sort through their problems and he comes to realize that they were always meant to be together.
