Yes Luladoll is legit! She's a dealer, it's just not well-known in the resin bjd hobby sphere I think because she largely deals in other kinds of dolls or ones that aren't on topic for DoA because they're not made of cast resin.

 

I do! I own a MissMian Liz, and I bought her from LulaDoll! They're a legit site and she's so beautiful and precious! Great poser, great quality, and the default faceup is so detailed and gorgeous! Highly recommend!

Yes, she comes with the body blushing and extra hands, feet and eyes! I haven’t put the eyes in mine yet either! Thanks for posting the picture @HeyJude

 

You're welcome! When I ordered her (April, I think), there were 2 options - blank or with a faceup, and as @nancy_schroeder_ca said, the faceup option comes with faceup, body blushing, and eyes. She also came with an extra pair of hands and heel feet, but I don't know if that's standard or only with the faceup. The eyes are lovely, and she is very well-made overall.

Hello all! I accidentally stumbled into the tinies world by trying to buy my favorite Myou 1/4 on taobao and accidentally ordered a 1/6. I’m now on the hunt for places to buy 1/6 mature female heads! I realize the Myou body has a large neck size (5cm) so I’m open to modding but just wanted to get some input if anyone has tried to hybrid a 1/6 Myou or any good places to buy single 1/6 mature female heads. The closet I’ve come is mudoll Alex but I’d like something more mature or even better yet, fantasy themed.

 

depending on your tastes, some of the boy heads from Granado could make cool girls I think? (I think Granado themselves only offer heads during certain periods, but legend dolls has heads all the time. They also have one female head, though I'm not sure the neck size. But I think Granado heads tend to be on the small side?)

otherwise I think dollmore has 1/6 dolls where the head can be bought alone? At least, I remember the option been suggested when I had a similar question.

Other than that, I'm not sure there's a lot of maker/artists that sell just the head in that scale...

 

Oh hmm this is a tall order, surprisingly! I know there have been some successful hybrids with the BOYS, but the girls might be harder... I can think of a fantasy-themed head, but she's limited and more on the cute end of the spectrum.

 

I think it depends on what you define as mature? I find the Soom Mini Gems and Myou Vieroudis and Reid sculpts to be mature. But as far as I know, they don't sell the heads separately.

I have some comparison photos here including an myou doll if you are interested. I'm not sure which of these sell heads individually, if any. If you would like me to try headswapping with any of these dolls including the maskcat one mentioned, let me know and I'll make a photo for you!

I have gotten mature tiny floating heads on the marketplace before. Presumably just from random hybrid projects. Asleep Eidolon does event heads for their mature tinies but I don't think you can buy just a head alone. You could probably also mod a parabox/obitsu type head to work and those are sold individually.

 

My Soom Mini Gem ladies and Heartstrung Ruse need more shoes, and most of what's available seems to be either too big or too small. I ordered a pair each from two different sellers on Etsy. I hope they fit!

 

If they do fit, let us know! I need to find shoes for one of my Soom Min Gem men.

 

The boys fit most 1/6 action figure man shoes I've tried with little to no difficulty. I would be curious what the girls fit, now that I have one! So fingers crossed for you @Leo Pheonix and keep us updated. Shoes are always such a hot topic...

 

Got any good recommendations for generic loafers or boots then? I have no idea where to get action figure shoes!

 

I've gotten all my tiny guys shoes through Cotswold Collectables (though they don't anything nice currently). I've also found boots that fit on Ebay. I don't remember the seller, but just searching for action figure shoes might work

 

Absolutely! Boots are super easy to get, loafers less so. For boots especially, I highly recommend Black Ops Toys. Make sure the boots/shoes say "foot type", since some shoes aren't hollow because you put the ankle peg in directly. I've also had good luck on Aliexpress, although you have to hunt around and you'll usually find the same styles over and over. I've bought things (although not necessarily shoes) from these 3 stores in the past and they're a good place to start: Bodies Wonderland, TATA TOYS, and Someone Toy.

 

I got my first pair of Etsy shoes today, and they fit my Soom Mini Gem really well. The shop is called DivaDollsShop, for anyone else looking for shoes. I'm sure there are plenty of others that have shoes that will fit these dolls, but wanted to share that the lace up boots from this shop fit.
