Pipos PO-11 Size Tinies

May 1, 2009

    1. It does, thanks...I think we will definitely swap for 14's. I love the purple, I may have to search for some like that.

    2. Lovely pics here! I hope to find time to photograph my girl soon too, but here is Lila with her new corset!

    3. @Milly77 Lila's new corset very pretty :fangirl:

      @clochette
I'm glad to hear that :)

      @E.Hadrian

I spam my old picture of Chibi again for your inspiration "Chibitalia"

    4. Wow, 96neko, your Chibi Joel is sooooo adorable! :aheartbea His faceup really suits the sculpt well~ :D

Milly77, I'm loving that corset! So cool! >w<

    5. Hey there everyone! Have you seen the new teaser pic on Pipos? I don't think *fingers crossed* that I absolutely need her right now... but that may change after they release more images! How about you guys?

    6. Oh no.........hopefully she'll be released as a basic.

    7. It says in their notice that she will be. I really love her face! I only have one Pipos right now (Dark Alice OE) but I am dying to get some more!! I wonder when they will be released and how much they will be. Do you think she be about the price that Alice was?

    8. Wow, she looks great in that! May I ask where you got it? Corsets for this size doll are a rarity!

ETA: The teaser shot of Dorothy is lovely, but she looks very Luts to me, she is more pretty vs. stylized with that Pipos signature character that I am used to.

    9. Hmm.... yeah I can see what you mean about looking like a Luts doll... we'll just have to see what she looks like when more pics come out! ^-^ I am not as much of a fan of The Wizard of Oz as I am of Alice, but ao far they are looking really adorable and so I still may be tempted although I really want to save up to try and get the rest of the Nightmare dolls.

    10. Oh, good, I must have missed that, I only saw that the basic would be the PO11 boy, which I presume is the Tin Man sculpt (another cutie). I think the fullset will be close to $400 (that's how much the Alice sets seemed to be), but the basic should be more in the $250-300 range.

    11. I might just get the basic too to cut down on the cost. I wonder when they will actually be released?

    12. Thanks 96neko, Eldurwen and Luckyl!

, I think the new dolls are interesting but luckily not necessary to get for me - but I love the Wizard of Oz theme!

96neko, I think your Chibi Joel is very cute!

I bought it in LDoll Festival (in France) this October. If I remember right, the seller´s name (or nick) is Raouken. There indeed were lots of lovely corsets available, in many sizes, beautifully made and decorated, and there were even tiny corset bones inside so when you use the corset it will come more and more close to your doll´s curves.

I add a pic, so you can see. (If it´s too off-topic, it can be taken away.)

    13. Beautiful work on those corsets...Moggie's corsets were like that, with boning inside the layers. So much work involved in that.

Any clue when the new dolls will be up? I really like both faces, and I'm curious to see more of them.

    14. clochette - Their latest announcement says that the event period is between Nov. 30th and Dec. 20th, so maybe the 30th will be the release date?

    15. I finally got a decent picture of my Joel's new eyes...SUCH a huge difference they make! Her old ones had no white showing at all because they were 18mm's. Way too big.

Anyway, here's my Naylea in her new awesome eyes :D

Also, there's some teaser pics up on the site, and it looks like only the boy is being released as a basic. No prices yet. I'm thinking that they may be the same face, it's hard to tell with the faceups. Maybe they'll let me get a girl body instead of a boy body?

    16. Aw, I really like Dorothy's outfit, but these are only the gift editions... Hopefully the other Dorothy's outfit will be just as cute! Weird about the basic, I could have sworn they said they were releasing both... you may be right about the head molds being the same though.

    17. Hi guys! I've been lurking here for maybe a week now, ever since I saw that teaser pic of Dorothy and fell in love! I came here to find out what sculpt she was and was pretty disappointed to find out she's a LE for the Wizard of Oz set! :( I'm guessing I'll have to try for second hand someday...

I have a a question or two actually... what is the 'Gift Edition' and will there be another edition released as well (one with the dress from the teaser pic of Dorothy)?

Also, I was checking out some other Po11 sculpts to see if there was any other, more easily attainable doll from Pipos that I could add to my wishlist. I was kinda wondering if I could request some pictures of Ron as a girl (or at least with a long wig)?

I hope it's okay that I pop in here like this! I do recognize a few people from other threads that I frequent here on DoA! :)

    18. The Dorothy in the teaser pic is the Limited Edition version. It would be sold only as a full set and will be more costly.

The pictures up right now are of the Gift Edition. This is the cheaper version where buyers can choose to either purchase full set or just nude doll.

The make up and outfits on the GE is not as elaborate as the LE sets. Also i would think there will be fewer sets made for the LE release then the GE. I'm guessing right now that perhaps the LE will be limited in number and GE limited by time. This is just totally a guess so don't take me too seriously :)

I am however surprised to see the ED Basic Edition. It looks like it's a basic of the Tin Man. They did not mention anything about releasing a Basic set. They only mentioned releasing a PO11 Boy basic body. Perhaps that pic/posting is just for the body.

I can't wait to see more pics soon. Especially the LE sets.

    19. Thanks for the clarification animedolls!! :)

I definitely thought that the face-up for the GE looked different than that teaser photo. Oh how I wish I had money to buy the full LE set for Dorothy!! :(

I'm not sure if I like the GE face-up for her as much as the LE one... I suppose it won't matter when I'm desperately trying to secure one on the second hand marketplace someday in the future... :/ It just makes me sad because I took one look at that teaser photo and just fell head-over-heels! <3 It could be ages before I'm able to afford her.. :(

    20. Kelaria, I've been lurking here as well ever since the Dorothy teasers appeared, and had the exact same questions as you - I was confused by what is meant by Gift Ed. vs. Limited Ed., so, thank you for asking :D

I'm in love with Dorothy as well, but from the teasers, I prefer the Limited version over the Gift version. Though, if it's the same sculpt, I could just get a blank Dorothy and have her painted more to my linking. I'm very anxious to see more pictures of the Limited and also her price :o
