Yeah, I feel the same, but I worry about being able to find a face-up artist that could compare to how much I like the LE default! >.> Plus I've never sent a head out for a face-up before and it makes me nervous! XD I'm limited because I won't send out of the country. Plus a lot of good face-up artists are expensive! If I had the money to spend, I would in a heartbeat, but unfortunately I don't. :[ Hopefully someday that will change!!

I really like the Limited Edition Dorthy, but I'm sort of confused about the "2.0 body". I can't seem to find a photo of it anywhere! I used to have a pipos Alice, so do you guys know what's different between the old po-11 body and the 2.0 version?

I just saw the LE pics of Dorothy and I got this terrible sad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I love her even more now! I saw that DenverDoll is going to sell her too, but even with their layaway system, I could never afford to order her in time... I suppose at least she's limited by time, not number, too... maybe that means there will be more Dorothys on the second hand marketplace later on... :/
Pooh, they took the hip joint away on the girls... I wonder why they did that, especially as they seemed to be seeking *more* poseability with the double-jointed elbow? She looks slimmer than the older body, hopefully they'll post a comparison soon.
LE Dorothy is amazing. I think she may be coming home She will be my first doll from Pipos. Do these dolls have any quirks I should know about? How's the overall quality from this company?
Oh Anna, I do hope you bring home LE Dorothy!! That way, I can live vicariously through you! XD I wonder if Pipos would accept a request to change body type from the large bust version to the small bust? Not that it matters, since I can't afford her...
Once again, I have the same question as you, Kelaria - I will be contacting Pipos about switching busts. But, I don't think that will be allowed, because her full set outfit must have been tailored for the large bust and won't fit the small bust as nicely.
I don't have any of the human/PO-11 dolls to judge from, but I have 4 Pipos anthros so far and I absolutely love them. All of mine have been excellent at posing straight from the box, they feel very sturdy and the resin has a very nice feel to it, the outfits and face-ups have all been excellent quality, and I have had nothing but good experiences with their customer service. They're definitely one of my favourite companies. I would absolutely recommend going for it if you want her. :3 I didn't hesitate to order my 5th Pipos doll this morning, though he is sadly not on topic for DoA.
Yeah, I noticed that too, but I still would want the smaller bust for her (if it looked too off, I would sell the dress). This, of course, is hypothetical, seeing as I won't be able to get her, but considering how much I love her, I haven't been able to stop myself from imagining hypothetical situations where I could get her. >.<
None that I've found. I absolutely love my Po11s...I have a boy, a girl large bust and girl small bust. They are awesome dolls, and I look forward to adding the girl to my troop. I'd love to get Ed as a girl as well, but I'm not sure they'd be up for switching the body out. Okay, in studying the faces really closely, it looks like Dorothy and the Tin Man are definitely different sculpts, but Ed is the human version of the Tin Man. Their faces are exactly the same, the little vertical eyelid crease and everything. Soooo, I can get away with ordering no-frills Dorothy and having Pam paint her, and pursue Ed later since he'll be a standard basic.
I'm very happy to hear that you all love Pipos! Once I get an answer about my small bust question, I'll be placing my order. It's always exciting, for me, at least, to get a doll from a company I am not familiar with!
I'm looking forward to the answer to that question, since it means I won't have to ask it myself (although I probably will if I ever end up needing to, just to be sure)! I'm also looking forward to the photos I hope you'll post when you get her! Even though it'll probably be a few months at least before she comes home! I applied for a new job today and if I were to get it and start work soon, there's a small chance I would be able to put her on layaway with Denverdoll... that's a looooooooongshot... but it's my last hope!

Where did it say the tin man is off topic? I've been watching for his release like a hawk but didn't see any announcement. I was wondering if anyone knew what the difference between the ltd and gift editions are besides the extra head and skin tone, but if he really is I guess I can't ask about that?
