Pipos PO-11 Size Tinies

This is my first time ordering a Pipos doll, so I had no idea that they have a history of this. Well, lesson learned - wait until the last few days to buy

 

pipos has stated on the information about the event that it starts from November 30th, but was only announced on the 14th December, so it includes everyone who already ordered from them. i don't know how this affects the dealers though.

 

Well, that's good news for those of us who ordered direct, at least. I had been kicking myself for not ordering through DDE, as I'd have liked to save the shipping, but I'm just so in the habit of ordering directly from companies like Soom & Leeke. I guess now it doesn't seem so bad, since at least I've got a tiny chance.

I hope they can do something for those who ordered through dealers.

 

I'm sorry that this is your first time ordering through Pipos and they pulled something like this.

I myself have been messaging them with my dis-pleasure on how they handled this announcement. I am a huge Pipos fan and own 45 of their dolls. Often i order directly from Pipos but sometimes if i order alot then i tend to go with DDE (if they are carrying) as they have a longer layaway plan which helps with funds. Well, this time i went with DDE because i wanted to order 3 of their dolls including 2 of the Limited ones. Which is why i am very un-happy that they suddenly announce this on Dec 14th when i already placed and paid my 1st layaway with DDE on Nov 30th. I would not qualify for the drawing.

It's true, it seems they do not care about customers buying through their dealers even though the dolls are coming directly from them. This is my first ever disappointment from Pipos.

Congratulations on your new girls!

My Dorothy was shipped, and is already at LAX....I should be able to get her on Tuesday (I don't think the post offices are open Monday).

Did anyone hear who won the limited dolls? I don't see a list on their site. I presume it wasn't me, since I didn't get an email, but it would be nice to see who it was.

 

My Dorothy arrived today! Her name is Sofina.

 

She's so beautiful...her outfit looks like the ones they have on Charlotte. Did it come with her?

May I ask why you are thinking of getting the face-up redone? I ordered the LE version as well, mostly because I loved the face-up so much. Does it look similar to promo photos?

 

Anna: I'm not a fan of how dark and glossy her lips are, she looks a little too made up for my taste - plus they gave her black lipdots, which I really really dislike. I'd like her brows to be touch darker also - but the execution is really nice, just not quite what I want. If anything, it's close enough to the promo photos.

 

My girl arrived today! She's lovely, but her body seems slimmer despite her "endowment" on top. She's quite the busty little lady. I do miss the lower waist joint that my other Pipos kids have. I'll be interested to see how she fits into some of my Yo-sized items. She came with aqua eyes, and another pair that were gold. SchizoCheese, what were the "props" that came with the fullset?

She'll be off to Pam for a faceup this weekend, but I don't expect her to be finished for a few weeks...the weather has been way too damp for MSC.

clochette: Mine only came with a pair of aqua eyes, but she came with extra plain heel parts. The prop is the chunk of yellow brick road that the Gift Edition Dorothy is standing on in the last photo.

And she is indeed extremely busty, but she seems to fit all right into my most of my regular tiny-sized clothing.

 

I'm glad that it's close enough to the promo shots, because the face-up is what made me get the LE instead of the Gift Edition. Though, I'm a bit anxious that I won't like the face-up in person. Ah, well, I guess we'll see when she gets here! She's actually already at DDE, but I will probably wait on paying her off until next month, since I have 3 dolls arriving this month and it may get a bit overwhelming! I would love to see more Dorothy pictures while I wait, though!

Hello everyone! I ordered my first Pipos BJD this weekend!! She is a dreaming mari and she is on layaway so it might be a while before she is home but I just wanted to share as I'm so excited!! I've been drooling over her for a long time and decided to just go for it!! I can't wait till she is home!!!! n__n
