1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Pygmalion Dolls

Apr 10, 2016

    1. We really hope we will be able to open up new orders for bodies in June~July. >_< We are also keeping our fingers crossed that there won't be any delays!

    2. Here's my Robin, along with all the goodies that came with him (I'll be eating those sweets later :love). For those who are wondering, the name part of the authenticity seal was removed to make way for a professional-looking Pygmalion stamp. There's also a serial number on the head half.

He's in Sand Beige. It's a nice glowy color that's a tad more red, less orange tan.

    3. @Valesca , he looks awesome! Even handsome without a faceup XD

As the April orders are starting to arrive, I thought I'd post here too in case people miss it.
I am personally in charge of everything related to the Authenticity (Serial Number) Look up page, so if you would like your ID to be displayed differently, please don't hesitate to PM me- I will update it asap :D

Also, we'd really appreciate it if you can post a review on our company review page! We'd LOVE to hear back from you guys, the good and the bad! We're always looking to improve :)

Edit: Here's the link to our review post on Den of Angels :D

    4. Okay, so I have a quick question regarding the bodies - are they not strung with elastic? I'm looking at the body info page and from the way things are worded it sounds like there's a wire inside instead of elastic.

    5. They are strung with elastic and are enforced with wire to help with posing :)
The wires are in the arms, legs and waist. Hope that helps!

My Ha and Robin's heads have arrived. I guess the body will take a little longer. The color in this photo is way paler than they are in reality. The beige is a warm tan brown. Maybe it got washed out by the brown background color. They are both so beautiful.

    7. Congratulations, @Therealwalter !
The body takes longer to produce and we do all our casting in-house by hand and since there's only 2 people working, we can only produce a very small number of bodies a day ; _ ; We are working hard to get all the orders out so hopefully your boys can be complete soon! If you have time, we'd really appreciate it if you could leave us a company review on our DoA review page :D -> Pygmalion Dolls Company Feedback (All)
      Thanks!

    8. got the heads I ordered yesterday. love the faces of course, but also the feel of the resin and very impressed that it's done in house. nice work! :D any idea though what might match sand beige? (at least that's what I think I ordered? XD)
PS: appreciated the snacks too @hisuida ! thanks! ^^

    9. Thank you so much!! @ATYL! We're very glad that you're happy with our dolls (and snacks!) :) We're super excited to see how they turn out in their finished form! :) Sadly, we don't have any other companies dolls to do resin matches.. ; _ ; Hopefully owners can help us out with that.. Xd

    11. OH MY GOSH, he looks STUNNING. Will there be an open eye version of him or is it to early to say? (or top secret ;D )

    12. Hey @Greenie !
Thanks for your kind words! He is super handsome isn't he? So excited myself >_<
We might offer an open eyed version depending on demand / popularity. Hopefully we can, but we'll have to wait and see.. :)

    13. I really like Matthew but I have very little use for closed eyed dolls and lack the skill to mod them so I hope you seriously consider an open eye option.

    14. I'm the same, I adore this sculpt a lot and now I'm considering buying him along with Robin if they offer an open eye version. I just don't have the skills or the resources to do it myself.

    15. I wanted to post a thank you here, so the Pygmalion rep, @hisuida, might see it and pass it on to the company. (I sent them an email thank you as well.)

I received a PygmalionDoll Ha this morning, and I wanted to thank them again for helping me deal with a shipping address mistake that I made (wrote my old address before a move). Mail forwarding worked as it should, but I appreciated that they contacted me and USPS themselves to make sure that the doll would arrive safely to me!

Here's a photo for the trouble:

    16. Hello, @americanseamstress !
We are so glad that he arrived safely to you-. I made the call to USPS after getting word from the artist and was so worried when the rep there first told me that he will be sent back to Korea >_< Thankfully that wasn't the case and we're just happy that everything was sorted out :) I will definitely relay your message!

    18. i keep coming back to Ha and thinking that with a little bit of chin narrowing, it would make a beautiful girl. Kind of like a less harsh IH Rania. Any idea if this is possible? or is the head too big?

    19. @Lirin

I think mine will be a girl. The head is big, however--as big as my boy heads. Definitely the size of Or-Doll Anderl, but with a larger face size in proportion to the head. Perhaps about like DollClans Vezeto, but I haven't compared them side by side.

    20. @Lirin @americanseamstress ,
Little-known fact: Ha was actually based on a girl character :P It would be really interesting to see how he'll look as a girl! :D
