  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Drayton is beautiful! I've never heard of that brand before, thank you! I see the website says "all dolls not available for a while", I think posted in 2015 (but I could be reading the date format incorrectly). Have they been on hiatus?

      MSDoll/SooLee Doll has always been here and then gone, then back, then away, then a new name, etc. They are not consistent like some makers. According to this News post from January, SooLee Drayton and Miyu will go up for sale once a year. So, no more sales for 2016, but on the plus side, it sure does give you time to save up for the 2017 release. :thumbup

    7. I have an Elfdoll Reminisce Lydia head (Sleeping version) and she's so pretty! I feel the sleeping sculpts allow for more faceup space, and creativity.
      I like that Elfdoll has both the sleeping head and regular head for some of their sculpts. Sometimes though, it's hard to find one or the other to give the character both options. I'm currently looking for the open eyed head for my Lydia sculpt, however i havem't had much luck... but I'm also so tempted to buy more secondhand sleeping sculpts because of the diversity they provide. :D Haha!

    8. Thank you for mentioning Elfdoll! I just looked up their sleeping heads (all seem to have the word "Reminisce" in their name) and they made a TON! I couldn't find a database listing them all, but I did see Soah, June, Ryung, Tasha, Emma, Red, Aden, Mir, Hazy...

    12. My Unoa Sist has a fully closed eye faceplate, and I think Unoa Zero has one, too. What's nice about these faceplates is the dolls can appear to be looking down, as in reading a book. This adds a lot of versatility to a bjd.

These are the ones from my crew that I remember of the top of my head to be sleeping sculpts; AngellStudio Dana, DZ Moment-Ji, DOB Libra comes with a sleeping face-plate, FL El comes with a sleeping face-plate, DollShe Saint can be found as a sleeping sculpt, DollClans Kien, DZ Yue, DZ Hong, DZ Joe, BF PF Didi, LeekeWorld Chris, Akagi YouYue, AprilStory Sping, don't know if LeekeWorld Rihael is seen as sleeping? At least I see him as being.

      They also had a sleeping Ruru sculpt and she is so pretty and sweet. I can say for sure they are sealed closed eyes, as I did an eye opening on one and it took forever to get through that thick resin!

    16. I only have one, a "Reminisce Soah", I don't think I would buy another as I do not use it much. I already had a regular Soah doll. I just wanted the sleeping head so that the doll's husband could moon over his sleeping princess. A friend had gotten it in a trade and asked me if I wanted it, and was asking a very fair price, so I was like, "Sure!"

I love them depending on the sculpt, some are the same head with closed eyes, but I love both the David and Grant Dollshe sleeping heads mentioned earlier because they're each unique from their regular - David has a frown and a furrow between his brow, and Grant's sleeping head has a little side smile his regular head doesn't.
