SoulDoll Zenith Discussion ~ Part II

Well, my first thought was no, it won't fit! But, maybe it will, if the girls' clothes fit...?Definitely give it a try and let us know!

 

Looks like Souldoll is finally releasing Isabel, the Zenith girl that has been seen modeling some of their newer wigs The sales page and photos are up, but she's not for sale yet. And apparently there's also a gorgeous vampire version of her, with pretty elf ears!! Both versions are thankfully basic... Is anyone going to order her?

 

I keep going back daily and staring at Isabel in those wig pictures. The vamp version is beautiful too especially that icy dead faceup. She's one of those dolls that just draws you in.

Right now I'm waiting on holiday events on a couple of other companies and will make a decision then.

 

I'm planning on getting Evelyn in January. I have her "brother" Albin on layaway at Soom. I'm not sure I like Isabel's big teeth. but, her heart-shaped face is so pretty. my two vamp siblings have already told me their names: Sebastian & Emmanuelle.
he'll be white unpainted, she normal with the default faceup. (although I want to change her lips a bit) that's the plan anyway.

re: the winter event. I wonder what the limit on "free" clothing is. If you pay in full for your doll, can you get the pricey outfit free???? my thanks to SD for having their event extend into the new year. + making "basic" sculpts. so tired of having less than a two weeks to jump on a release.

Last year the Bella School Girl outfit was the free outfit but if you wanted the Winter Moon or Visitor outfit you had to buy them separately. So I guess we'll find out when the Event starts.

 

I actually found a blank picture of vampire Isabel on Instagram, posted by the sculptor I wasn't sure how I feel about the default faceup and somehow I always struggle trying to see "behind" Souldoll's faceups, but seeing the blank face made me sure that I like the sculpt a lot~

The blanks for Isabel are soooo pretty! Thank you so much for posting them.

I always have trouble trying to figure out if I like the sculpt or if I just like the makeup. SoulDoll always does a fantastic job with the make up and the outfit that I can't decide what to do haha.

 

I see from her Instagram and Facebook accounts that she was an Iplehouse sculptor and did the Stella sculpt.

 

@PatriceS - I love Stella. no wonder Isabel looks so beautiful.

 

That kind of sealed the deal for me and I expect I'll be ordering Isabel as soon as she's available.

 

I love Stella too, she's one of the prettiest sculpts I know! So exciting that a former sculptor of Iplehouse is working for Souldoll now, though that means my wallet might be in more danger from now on when it comes to this company ^^;

They put up all the free outfits this morning and with Isabel you have the choice or the vampire or human outfit pictured on her.

>_< what to do. I think that her body makes its harder to deside. I think the breast part of the body is to unatural and ''sexy'' for her sculpt. i wich they had an option for the breast size.
Have someone ordered yet?

 

I ordered her. I've got 3 Zenith girls all with that body and I'm fine with her breasts.

 

@bunnylungs - I have reservations about that huge bosom too. I thought we'd have a choice, but I must be thinking of another company.

I also a bit bummed about Souldoll not offering the old double-jointed body with smaller, more realistic breasts than the new one :/
In fact I wrote about it on the Zenith Girls Discussion (which is surprisingly a lot less lively than this one ) I should of asked about it here. Basically I asked souldoll about getting the old double-jointed body for my order of Zenith Lime and this was their answer:
Sorry about it.
We don't offering double jointed body for present because the mold and original shape has some problems.
We are expecting that it takes a pretty long time even if we can re-sell the body.
We hope you understand.

I was soooo sad T_T I was gathering funds to order my grail & by the time I was ready to get her, the old double-jointed body was gone :/ In fact, since reading Dimensiondolls review I'm quite traumatized by the new body

 

@Dayme - I'm sorry that they dropped the double dolls completely. I like the "double" youth size. I have a Zii from years ago, and should have jumped for another one his size long before this discontinuation. I wish we could buy heads all the time. sometimes hybridizing is the only way to get the character the way you want.

I have read that the new Zenith girl body is more stable. better feet, ankles, legs. arms not so great. boobage defies gravity.
