1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    5. I just got my new light tan Ziya and can't wait to start customizing her! Seeing all your pictures only gets me more excited!

Alas, I'm already starting to think on which BJD I should get to shell her best friend and romantic interest. I'm not very savvy when browsing though the forums so I was wondering if you guys knew where I could find some posts with Youpladolls (on Ziya size) body comparison next to other brands? I know MNFs are kinda perfect size wise but their heads are a little too big when put next to youplas lol.

Or maybe I could get a MNF body with another company's head? Any recommendations? I'm a little lost about this

    6. I recently adopted Olive and waiting her arrival. I read thru this thread and enjoyed all the photos. I understand she can wear MNF Moe shoes...where do you get that size? and where to find wigs...she really isn't 5/6 or 6/7 is she? Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

    7. Hmm, none of the dolls I have really match their headsize, but I took a picture of the closest-- Souldoll. My Souldoll Ruan has an old kid body.

    8. I recently got a Ophelie ♥
Just like my Ziya, she doesn't have a name yet, and I only have one wig that fits her, eventhough she will eventually get a completely different one later. :)
Most 6/7" wigs I have are a bit too big for her, and my 5/6" wigs are too small. :|
But I realy like how she looks for now!

    9. Your Ophelie is beautiful, @kulukala. Is that the company faceup? I have the same problem with wigs. My Ophelie ended up with a size 5-6 that other dolls had stretched a bit. I'm debating whether to make her a wig of her own.

By the way, there is a separate thread for the 35cm Anima Line: YouplaDolls Tiny Doll discussion part 1. Hope to see you there!:)

    10. @kulukala Ophelie is very pretty. Congratulations!

Olive arrived. I am very happy with her but shoes are a nightmare. :(

    11. She's beautiful, @Oliveoil. I love her faceup and how you've styled her. Did you make her dress?

    12. @Oliveoil she's beautiful, her hair and eyes suit her perfectly. And the dress looks great on her too with her colouring.

    13. Thank you @vermont chick and @dambuster01! I didn't make her dress. I do have the pattern and hope to make one. It is a little tight in the waist. I am very pleased with her face up. I already have her wearing another dress and wig. I am pleased with the eyes. Wish I could get more.

    14. This!!! I have had my Ziya for over a year now, but have yet to be able to find her compatible shoes! I can get by with some tiny/yo-sized shoes for her flat feet, but her heeled feet are impossible! I've finally resigned myself to making her some, but have been so busy I just haven't had time~ /o\

Other than that, though, I absolutely adore her sooooo much! *___*

And your Olive girl is soooo gorgeous!

    15. If I were a doll artist I would make feet compatible to MNF size. It is so frustrating with such an odd size. I thought about making too.
Thank you on my Olive. I love her face.

    16. I came up with a great idea and it worked for shoes. I used shoes for MNF and created a foam insert. It does not work on all shoes but got these on ebay for Kish 14" dolls.

    17. @Oliveoil - The shoes look like a perfect fit! I've read before that shoes for Kish 14-inch girls fit MNF but never tried them myself. Guess now I will. Thanks for the heads up! I've used a foam insole with other dolls' shoes but hadn't tried it with my Ziya.

    18. Not all work but I think the ones with straps help. :) Thanks!
