It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.Dismiss Notice

The RealFee is Fairyland's line of 19cm dolls. This line was sculpted by the Fairyland/Cerberus Project with fullsets designed by Fairy's Atelier. The first release was through Fairyland and their dealer DenverDoll Emporium in May of 2015. They were able to be purchased in Beautiful White, Natural, Tan, and Designer Mint, and they sold out by June of 2015. They are not always available for purchase but had a second release in June of 2016, and another release during the winter event in 2017-2018.

In addition to the new ECS for the RealFee body, Fairyland also made an "Easy Eject System" or EES for easy 'swift' exchanging of faceplates for the RealFee line. While some notes the common issue with Fairyland dolls having loose faceplates (which is often remidied by using eye putty), others had to use more fore than usual in order to remove the faceplates. Some even noted that they had to use items stronger than their fingernails, like flat blades to help them remove the faceplate. RealFee faceplates have 10 spots in which to use magnets, so many recommend using eye putty to hold them in place as one may want to move the magnet placement later.

Body types
Fairyland offers a more unique body type for RealFees compared to most small doll which includes a differentiated body for the male and female dolls. Before their release, all Fairyland dolls smaller than the LittleFee were all on angel bodies where there was no difference between male or female dolls. RealFees also have interchangeable fantasy parts. In order to help make the changing of parts easier for their customers, Fairyland created a new system they called the "Easy Change System" or ECS which attaches the torso to the bottom with a hook and ring with both parts of the doll strung separately.
Fantasy Bodies
Common Issues
Common issues with the RealFee are the same as with most Fairyland dolls including thin resin and loose faceplates. Some orders also came in showing sanding marks and light sanding. Yet others had smudging that was easily remedied by cleaning. Bodies also were sometimes strung very tightly, worrying many that it would break the hook and ring mechanism. At the initial release in 2015, some had issues with posing the Bunny fantasy body, but it was found that by holding the feet very tightly to the surface of the standing area, one was having more luck. The initial release also saw some faceup discrepancies with May's faceup as her eyebrows were often different than the promo pictures.
Hybrid compatibility
Fairyland created face connectors so that one could use Pukifee or Littlefee faceplates with the RealFee bodies and fantasy bodies. During the initial release, the buyer was able to choose and receive one as a gift. These connectors are also available for purchase, even when RealFees are not available for purchase. Littlefee hands also fit well on the RealFee wrist knobs although some believe the hands to look too large and comical. The boy and girl realfee hands do have slight differences between them.
The Realfee boy torso does not fit well on the girl legs or vice versa. Those who have tried this have noted gaping in the back of the doll, and it causes the belly button to not sit at the proper place (it's too low in the case of the boy torso and girl legs, for example).

The Designer Mint color was noted to be different than Luts, being less bright and more of a blue mint, not green. It is also important to note that Designer Mint is different than Pastel Mint, as the Pastel Mint released with Mari is more of a true mint and more green than the original Designer Mint.
