It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.Dismiss Notice

Young Iplehouse Doll (or YID) was Iplehouse's first series of dolls released since the company's beginning in 2003. With the introduction of the Elder Iplehouse Doll series in 2007, the original line was given its own name to distinguish it from series to come. They were available in normal and white skins with a range of tan skins and special Real skin available in limited runs.
The original line was discontinued at the end of January 2012. As of March 2012 a new female body is in development. On March 24th they released their first two female YID dolls with the new body, YID Emilia and YID Erica. Currently a new male body is also in production.

As YIDs were introduced to the line, they were initially sold as collection sets or special editions. Iplehouse occasionally reissued the dolls in tan skins or in their special Real skin. One sculpt, YID Aaron, was only available through the Custom Doll System (CDS).
