Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Company Information
Bobobie is a Chinese BJD company formed by Dennis of Mythdoll, and launched in 2006 with a 60cm girl doll named Sweet. Since then, they have diversified into many different sizes of doll, from 14cm to 1/3 scale. Typically, their dolls are fairly stylised, featuring prominent noses, large eyes, gentle expressions and simply sculpted bodies, although some sculpts do vary from this style. Their prices are comparatively inexpensive when compared to most other companies, and Bobobie has a stated philosophy of making beautiful ball jointed dolls more accessible.
They also sell clothes and accessories, and ResinSoul dolls are available from their website.
Typically, Bobobie is abbreviated to BBB, and ResinSoul to RS.
Relationship with other companies and casting services
ResinSoul
Bobobie are a sister company to ResinSoul and cast their dolls. ResinSoul dolls are sold from the Bobobie website, although ResinSoul do not sell Bobobie dolls. ResinSoul dolls are not distinguished from Bobobie dolls on the Bobobie website.
When ordered from the Bobobie site, ResinSoul dolls will by default have ResinSoul bodies. However, it is possible, when ordering from Bobobie, to request ResinSoul sculpts on Bobobie bodies, or Bobobie heads on ResinSoul bodies; this service is not available from the ResinSoul website.
The close relationship between the companies has led to some confusion, with ResinSoul dolls occaisionally being referred to as Bobobie dolls. They use the same resin and are cast in the same factory, but have distinct head and body sculpts, and some difference in size in equivalent size ranges.
Other companies
Bobobie casts the dolls for other sculptors/companies, like Garden of Dolls, TheSleepingElf, Pixiez and Lady Saiyuki, but these are not available from the Bobobie website.
Casting service
They offer a casting service on request. This seems to be intended for people intending to sell their own doll line, rather than a Minimee type service.
Resin
Bobobie and Resinsoul are remarkable for their wide variety of resin colors. They are made from polyurethane resin. The resin used to cast dolls by Bobobie and related companies is comparatively light in weight, sturdy, smoothly sanded and features a distinctive waxen sheen. Colored and tanned dolls are evenly tinted throughout, allowing sanding and modification.
The company's original tan skin, now called dark tan or chocolate, was withdrawn from sale and replaced with their current light tan/coffee shade after problems with streaking and flaws, but can be requested as a special order.

- Light tan/coffee, pink, original blue, sky blue, red, gray, green, lilac (additional charge)
- Dark tan/chocolate skin can be specially requested by contacting Bobobie or Resinsoul.
