Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. About
Bobobie and ResinSoul's 1/4 scale dolls range from 40cm to 44cm in height depending on which body type and head sculpt is selected. Bobobie offers mature and immature female bodies and a male body; ResinSoul offers single and double-jointed female bodies and a male body. Each company offers human and elf-eared sculpts; additionally, ResinSoul offers mermaid-ear sculpts and one fanged doll.
Default body types and hybridising between the companies
By default, Bobobie and ResinSoul dolls with come with bodies from their own company; however, ResinSoul dolls ordered from Bobobie’s webpage can be requested with Bobobie bodies, and vice versa. Bobobie heads and bodies are not available from ResinSoul. Some dealers, however, that stock dolls from both companies will label dolls from both companies as Bobobie dolls, which can cause some confusion. In that case, the default body will be determined by headsculpt; all ResinSoul head sculpts but Rong will come with the original ResinSoul body, Rong will come with the double-jointed ResinSoul body, and all original Bobobie sculpts will come with a Bobobie body, although delaers may be able to pr-order the body a customer prefers. Sprite is the only doll which defaults to the immature Bobobie body.
It should be noted, however, that the Bobobie ¼ female bodies are distinctly larger than the single-jointed Resinsoul ¼ bodies, and that the double-jointed Resinsoul ¼ body has a larger neck hole than the other bodies, so differences in scale will be apparent. Lan and Lu have the smallest heads in this scale, and will not hybridise well with the larger bodies; Pixie and Tiah have the largest female heads, and may have the opposite problem when combined with the slighter ResinSoul body. Each company will also gender-swap bodies on request, although the same disclaimer applies to Lan and Lu.

This body features double-jointed knees, single-jointed elbows, and a three-part mature torso. It fits clothing intended for mature MSD sized dolls. It is the default body for the Tiah, Pixie and Bobie sculpts.

Original female body
This is a single-jointed body. It fits clothing intended for some slim MSD dolls, as well as some clothing intended for 40cm fashion dolls. It is the default body for the Mei, Fei, Ju, Lu and Lan sculpts.
