Term 'slim mini' refers to dolls in the 43cm range that have an adult-like body. Where as regular MSDs are meant to be children compared to SD sized dolls, slim minis will look off-scale compared to SDs. They are practically SD dolls in a smaller scale.

Although from different companies, all slim mini dolls can mostly use the same clothes whereas MSDs clothes tend to be either too big or too small (with big-hipped dolls).
